    Awesome except...

by Jager1212 on 4/16/18Silverstein Eye Centers Arena - Independence

I have been going to Mavericks games for a couple years now and I absolutely love the venue and the fans, and the production the organization puts out there for the fans too. Now going to an indoor football at the same place is awesome.... but, the field needs major improvements for the teams, and the concessions prices are absolutely ridiculous, almost everything is over $8, be prepared to spend well over a $100 in concessions and that’s with out buying and adult beverages, a small family of four will easily needs $100 and that will barely get them nachos and pop. Outside of that the employees are amazing the venue is amazing and well watching live sports is amazing!!!

    KC Phantoms AWESOME family fun!

by KCmoPhantomfan1 on 4/16/18Silverstein Eye Centers Arena - Independence

No other place can you enjoy an extreme sport in such a family friendly environment. The players play for the love of the sport and truly leave it all on the field! The half time shows are always centered around the awesome local KC talent, and the event is indoors so you are never exposed to the heat, cold or wet stuff! Great football at a reasonable price!

Turns overs and penalties. Beer $10 a can ???

by TCIndepMo on 4/30/17Indep Events Center - Independence, Missouri

Gee, what a surprise. Turn overs and penalties cost us another one. No give up by players but we need some that can play better. New QB is an improvement, but is it really a good thing in indoor football when best aspect of your offense is the RUNNING ability of the QB? Bernard obviously new to the squad and more practice snaps should help. Defense played its heart out. Ultimately no reward. After finally making a good kick the Law kicker actually flopped to the rug in disbelief. Hot Dogs not worth $4.75 (poorly cooked and too big for size of the bun). One can of beer not worth $10.

    Phantoms Football--

by AFTony on 4/4/17Silverstein Eye Center - Independence

I for one am glad arena football is back! Is their kinks-yes. will they get worked out probably, I love Silverstein Ctr-great place, easy to get in & out of! The beginning script needs a little work-too dark and not enough interaction with Maj Mo (Mascot) through out the game. Merchandise - I wish their was footballs and helmets to pick-up, I absolutely love the Phantoms logo! I did pick up a new T-Shirt. The game-it was close and the competitiveness between the teams was great. Loved the fast pace of Arena Football. It still lasts 3hrs-the interaction between the players and the crowd was pretty good, even the apposing team got in a little chit chat with the fans. I felt it was worth the price of admission, we sat in the upper seats.-and I really want these guys to secede. But be patient and watch it for what it is-have fun, you never know when you may be taking home a game ball!

The football game was really interesting. It seemed like it was very low budget. The mascot needs work.

    not worth the money

by djbigdog on 3/16/17Silverstein Eye Centers Arena - Independence

the Independence Event Center does not have a bad seat anywhere in the venue. That being said Kansas City Phantoms game had many disappointing aspects. for starters the product on the field was not worth the money that I paid for the tickets. The game last too long, too many timeouts, it became a running joke for those of us that went and those sitting around me, that their were more timeouts than game play. also if you are going to play games on a school night, you should start earlier. having to leave during the 3rd quarter and missing half the game also made the price of the tickets a poor value. a 6pm start time would have been much better. also not being prepared for your Home Opener and having your merchandise available to buy. I wanted to buy my son and I hats and all you had were very cheap T-shirts - don't expect to have a team in business long when your product and overall experience were not ready to be presented to the public. I love sports and can even find bowling exciting to watch. this was very disappointing.
