Judas Priest on Tour
British heavy metal powerhouse Judas Priest has released 22 albums over four decades. They laid much of the groundwork for the heavy music of the 80s with their two guitar attack of revved up blues-based riffs They continue to tour, treating metal fans to extravagant live shows and spirited renditions of their unmistakable anthems. Ticket holders are sure to get to a concert early because they don't want to miss Singer Rob Halford's stage entrance. He emerges from a cloud of fog riding on a Harley Davidson, clad head to toe in leather-studded S&M gear. The band released a live DVD of their Epitaph World Tour in May 2013, which well received and features 23 tracks covering most eras of the bands storied career.
Judas Priest in Concert
The group formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England and released their first album in 1974 entitled Rocka Rolla. This was soon to be followed by Sad Wings of Destiny in 1976, which gained the group a wider audience in the UK. The group's next three albums: Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Hell Bent for Leather were released in 1977, 1978 and 1979 respectively, and showed a band evolving its sound into shorter songs that still retained a heavy metal punch. Next came the album British Steel in 1980, which featured "Living After Midnight", "Breaking the Law" and "United" — all earning regular radio play. Point of Entry was released in 1981, followed by Screaming For Vengeance in 1984, which went double platinum. The 2008 concept album Nostradamus found them pushing boundaries by challenging their listeners to consider how "metal" the man of prophetic talents actually was. Over the next four years the band toured relentlessly and they show no signs of letting up, with an impressive schedule of tour dates on the books for 2014.

I have been a fan of Judas Priest since they toured supporting the Stained Class album, and saw them perform at the Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis, Mo. They were great then and are equally great now. Halford's voice is amazing and Hill is a great metal bass player. I miss K.K., Glenn, Les Binks and Dave Holland, however, the current line up featuring Halford, Hill, Travis, Faulkner and Sneap "deliver the goods"! Sabaton was the right opening act; these guys are old school heavy metal and have the energy to prove it. Buy your Priest tickets and go watch heavy metal the way it should be performed!
King's of metal couldn't sound better. I don't have to tell you but catch em if you can
Rob halford is the metal god! Concert was great from beginning to end! Best vocal performance since 1988!
Excellent show!! Halford was on top of his game!!! Band was tight!!! Love Bites, Devils Child, Saints in Hell in a row was the highlight for me!!! Judas Priest still going strong!!!
Great parking arrangements getting in and out of the city. The Prudential Center stadium was super clean and very well maintained. The food and drink at the concessions tasted great. Plenty of merchandise before and after the show. The seats were very nice and comfy, just a little bit too close together. We’re in a state of inflation, so things are costing a bit more than usual. The ushers and security were very helpful. The bands sounded great and the sound system was very nice. Sabaton was a great opener and very theatrical. I liked their music from start to finish. They had a cool stage setup with the drum kit on top of a tank! Judas Priest came out on fire, played all their classics as well as some new stuff. I was blown away with Crown of Horns. I booked my tickets well in advanced and it was worth it. Super fun and memorable time. Thanks for keeping it metal. We love you \m/
Halford still have that great voice but the songs they played are not the best repertory.
Great show awesome experience. The band was phenomenal
My son and I had an awesome time. Sabaton and Judas Priest both rocked the freakin house! I'd go again to see them if I could.
