Joseph Arthur Tickets

Joe took the stage and immediately commanded your attention. Many performers playing a complete album, his Redemption Son in this case, will usually have some lulls but Joe makes every song an adventure. With his electric guitar, looping techniques, bass pedal and backing tracks he is a unique one man band. His singing is fantastic and is also a great entertainer. On this night I would say he was even a little crazy, but in a good way. At the end of each song you realize that what you just heard sounding like a full band rockin and jammin, there's only one person standing on the stage! Will never figure out why more people have not discovered this unique artist. My wife, friends and I all love ya Joe, keep it up.

What an artist - Joseph Arthur is the real deal. It is hard to believe that he is not in front of 50,000 fans. If you ever want to see a genuinely gifted singer/song writer...he is your man. Bowery Ballroom is an excellent venue as well.

Meghan Wolf was outstanding, great to have such an impressive opening act . Joseph Arthur was outstanding as usual . He played acoustic solo, did some of his looping techniques that were mesmerizing . Looking forward to seeing them both again.

I went to both nights (Friday and Saturday so a similar review is posted on both nights) Joseph Arthur is an incredible musician (and all around man of the arts) with a strong command of not only his melody lines, but also of the ridiculous amount of electronics used to create loops, vocal effects, guitar effects, ART. He not only played a bunch of awesome songs throughout the evening, but he also did live paintings on stage which were auctioned off later (for Haiti relief). His performance was effervescent and electric. I miss him already... :-(
