It was a beautiful experience. That was my first time witnessing an orchestra perform. With it being the Joker score on top of that was wonderful. I highly recommend it and I hope that they do this for more films in the future.
Unfortunately this show was very underwhelming. Basically the movie was played on a big screen and a very small part of the ASO played music every now and then. Neither my husband or myself could actually hear the movie. We left at intermission. Not worth the money at all.
It was amazing!!! The music went perfectly with the movie. I'd go again!
Our family loves that these movie viewings with live symphony performances. Thank you for making the symphony fun and accessible for all.
Great experience watching Joker on the big Imax screen. Comfortable seats. Consessions were 'unreal' expensive! A bottle of Dasani water is $3.50!! Don't get there early because they don't open the door to the theater until 10 minutes before the movie starts. NO BACKPACKS! But overall, a fun experience. Very friendly and accommodating personnel.
For weeks leading up to the release I was very excited to see this movie. On Saturday we saw it in IMAX and in my opinion it was very disappointing. The first 30 minutes were very slow and the rest of the movie didn’t get much better. Phoenix played a great part but in my opinion the movie lacked the action that is usually in these movies. His laughing took up about 8 minutes of the movie which we could have done without. It had some good parts but it is better suited for a Redbox or streaming rental at home.
I was more impressed by Joaquin Phoenix than I was the movie content for the DC Comic series and what it usually produces!
