    Amazing

by Jess on 7/26/223TEN Austin City Limits Live - Austin

The show was nothing short of amazing. Small intimate venue, bar tenders were very polite and accommodating, and the opening act was just as good as Joe. It did not disappoint!

    Joe Purdy was beyond magical!

by JoJoBLO on 9/19/17Tralf - Buffalo

Blown away. Cried twice. He has such a rich voice with a lot to say. His singer/songwriter and musical abilities supersedes so many shows I've been to. He's like a little "angstier," more rugged, Jack Johnson. Amazing!

    Joe Purdy

by CallieTavi on 2/1/17Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Garrison Starr and Joe Purdy were straight up MAGICAL. The intimate setting, and good timing, accounted for a front row view of these two. I'd never heard Garrison Starr before but her vocals were beautiful and she was funny as hell. Joe Purdy sounds even better live than he does on record, and his songs are poignant reminders of our fragile humanity. He's also a babe and melts your heart.

    Awesome live music

by MarG26 on 2/1/17Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Take away all of the bells and whistles. When you see Joe Purdy you see a guy with a guitar and a harmonica up close and personal. Incredible voice, great songs, all in all awesome experience.

Two of the best shows we've been to

by JSPAD on 10/9/16Daryl's House - Pawling

We saw Joe in Fairfield, CT and at Daryl's House in NY, both are really small intimate venues. We usually average 3-6 concerts a year, all really great artists, Joe Purdy put on not one, but two shows that blew us away. He's an amazing musician, story teller, and a very laid back, funny guy that puts a crowd at ease and makes it a relaxed evening where you happen to be hanging out with an immensely talented man.

Joe Purdy - Good music, tough crowd

by Cable126543278 on 3/29/16Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Joe Purdy's performance was excellent, I would have enjoyed it even more if the crowd were less rambunctious. There was a girl who was constantly yelling obnoxiously about wanting to hear a certain song. Also there was a bit of an argument between a man and a woman when the man tried to stand in front of the woman and both of them were intoxicated so they began arguing in the midst of the music. Other than that I really enjoyed it and would suggest other people attend as long as they have that expectation. Also, really great opening act, woman had a set of pipes and was amazing.

    Disappointed

by Carolineeli13 on 3/29/16Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Venue was great. Crowd was rude.. Overly drunk and obnoxious. And joe purdys songs were nothing like his usual amazing stuff. All political rants. Waste of money, very disappointed

    Awesome Experience

    by FreeBird7 on 3/26/16The Basement - Columbus

Since the venue was small Purdy was able to communicate with the crowd making it feel as though we were all a bunch of friends hanging out in "the basement"

    Not great

    by Magic13 on 7/2/14The Sinclair - Cambridge

First of all, the venue (The Sinclair) was very very hot and apparently, there was no AC. It was uncomfortable .... Secondly, Joe Purdy's set list was unimpressive....and I'm a big fan.
