Fun evening but each trick took forever to set up and perform. You almost lost interest by the time the trick was hitting its peak. We were surprised that the performance wasn’t more polished. Not sure that I’d recommend this to a friend.
Not interesting. Not dynamic. Not fast. Few illusions, a lot of talking. Left in the middle of the show.
We rarely have a date night but this was a Christmas Gift from our daughter. What a great night - totally enjoyed the show and loved how Ivan included the audience. It was a fun night. Highly recommend you take in the SHOW!
The show was very average. His first trick which lasted about 10 to 12 minutes did not work. Of the other 6 or 7 tricks I was able to figure out how 5 of them were done by the end of the show. Figured our the other 1 or 2 later. Not much bang for your buck if a 73 year old can figure out how they were done.
I LOVE magic and illusion! I attended with great anticipation of being entertained. I was initially disappointed with the flow of the show. It seemed, as my friend described “amateurish.” I felt I was possibly too jaded. Fortunately, the show gained my attention, and ended on a good note.
Ivan was very entertaining. His spontaneity and clever quips were funny. The magic was great. And his performance just elevated the show!
Took my dad to this show. He is really into this stuff. I had read up on it and was totally expecting a big production show, not at all what I expected. The show was very raw, needless to say, I did find myself clapping a lot! The most important thing was that my dad really enjoyed it, and like P&T, he was fooled!! I really liked the positive message blended into the show. Hats off to Ivan Amodei.
