Besides the heat ( can’t control the weather) it was an amazing experience! Stir cove is my favorite outdoor concert venue and the entire show was amazing and carried out so well!
Huge thanks to Hawthorne Heights for hosting this concert, it was amazing and we had such a good time! Now that Warped Tour is dead, there really is no replacement, and this is definitely as close as it comes, but with a much chiller vibe since we're all elder millennials that enjoy sitting down and relaxing. It was the perfect night with perfect weather, we of course loved Saosin, KennyHoopla, Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, and Emery most of all. All that to say, thank you for hosting this, it was the perfect evening for elder emo millenials to feel at home once again. Please have this again next year!!

This is the second year I went to the Ohio Is For Lovers Fest and had just as much fun as I did the first time around. Hawthorne Heights are great hosts and the bands always seem to have fun. My only qualm is that the merch selection was slimmer this year, with fewer booths set up for the bands. All in all a great time. Looking forward to the next one!

Hawthorne Heights managed to put on the best, safest, most fun and nostalgic fest yet. I would definitely recommend going and j hope they plan one again for next year.
This is a great little emo festival started by the band Hawthorne Heights. We went last year-which was the first year-and enjoyed it immensely so we decided to come back this year. We go to a lot of festivals and concerts and this is truly a hidden gem. It’s small and the tickets are all general admission which is so nice. You can sit during some bands or be front and center in the pit for your favorites. The festival also has bands that are local to what city/state the … Is For Lovers is in. We saw bands we had never seen before which is always a treat. My only critique would be the set times. They have three stages and some bands go off at the same time or they overlap. I think they need to make set times so that you can see all the bands you want to see instead of having to pick between two playing at the same time. Otherwise, it is a low key, fun festival and I hope it stays that way. Normally festivals tend to get bigger and bigger each year, but this particular one should stay just the way it is because it’s just a great atmosphere and has a great vibe.
Great bands. Great venue. Best lineup. Best organization. Best people. Honestly didn’t expect much from this but people were SO friendly and took safety super seriously without being a debbie downer about crowd surfing etc. Bands walking around all day supporting other bands and being so friendly and open to fans coming up to them. Oh and did I mention, Best bands haha. Had the greatest time. 10/10 would attend again.
My sister and I drove from Cleveland to go to the festival and we had a blast. The only thing that wasn’t cool was the overlapping set times and bands. I thought that some bands could have played earlier so fans didn’t risk missing any of the bands playing. But overall it was a blast and depending on how things go next year we will be going again!
