We 80.00 each to get in. Then had to pay to sample the bbq there not worth what we paid
The food was (mostly) delicious, the drinks were plentiful, and the lines were short. Those were the highlights. Unfortunately, the event was not conducted as advertised, with half the billed headliners not present, only 2/3 of the food booths promised, and one chef ran out of (over charred) meat 25 minutes into the event and closed down the booth. All in all, I am disappointed in the experience for the price, as what we got wasn't what we signed up for.
It was a great experience in every aspect, from the time we arrived until we left hours later. The ilani folks get a superior rating for how well this was put together and managed. Something we would definitely do again!!
Seeing chefs you’ve watched on TV cook and interact with the crowds and one another in person is an awesome experience. I will go every year and attend more events. I truly enjoyed everything about the day.
The venue was beautiful. The number of chef offerings for the price was not great. 6 bites for $178. The saddest part was that some chefs staged their food before it was served and that left us with cold food that might have been tasty when hot. It was the first so hopefully the next time will be better. It was a fun evening but more food for the price would be nice.
Really excellent venue, service, and amazing food and entertainment! I could not have asked for a better package!!/
We had such a wonderful time at the Ilani BBQ Fest! Meeting the chefs was awesome...but the real star was the FOOD! Oh. My. Gosh. I have never been so full from eating small bites before. My personal favorite was the Elk steak, but my husband is still raving about Chef Tila's pork belly. And, really, it's not every day that you have an Iron Chef (Chef Michael Symon) actually cooking for you! Next year is already on the books for us - we can't wait!
Fantastic variety of really good food. The band was rocking! A really cool group of culinary professionals on hand, very talented and accommodating to us fans. I’ll do it again in a minute. Well worth the time and money spent.
The event description was inaccurate. We were assuming we would have an experience similar to a chef table, but definitely not the case. Great food but different stations were set up to grab your appetizers with limited seating available.
