AWESOME!! So much fun to see the incredible local high school talent. These kids always put on impressive performances. We are so fortunate to have these wonderful music programs locally, and the support of Starbucks to make this event possible year after year.
5 high schools, all great. These kids are awesome and already better than some pro musicians I have heard. A pleasure to see that the change in teaching staff is still resulting in super programs for such talented kids. Lucky to have such talented teachers working with kids.
These kids put their heart and soul into their performances and it showed. Thanks to the educators who allow these kids to shine brightly.
This event was such a pleasant surprise. It was a pleasure to stumble in on this exciting event in Washington. These jazz programs are outstanding and I was blown away at the talent and joy they all had!
Gorgeous theater, very well-organized event, things started on time and moved efficiently, no technical difficulties, great audience energy, amazing talent on stage in all five bands, wonderful slide show (with closed captioning--thank you!) and fantastic music. What more could we ask for?! Thank you so much for this experience!!!
These young people were very professional quality. It was a joy to see young people keeping the music olive.
Admission process was much faster than in the past
It was a great show, as usual. It was nice to hear Bellevue back again. And I loved Garfield’s 7th grader getting a chance to perform.
Overall, we really enjoyed the concert. We have been to a number of them in the past, and are always amazed by the young musicians there! On the down side, one of our seats was in need of repair, and was a bit uncomfortable.
Loved the music, and the enthusiasm from both the musicians AND the audience. Much of the music selection was new to me, as well, so I’ll be adding to my listening library. Really fun evening. I wish the paper program that was handed out had a bit more info than just the participants’s names. A playlist would really have been helpful.
