This tribute band was so full of energy and enjoyment. It was truly apparent how much they enjoy being musicians and playing Steely Dan tunes expertly. You could tell that Hey 19 made these detailed complicated songs seem effortless! Every musician in the group was amazing and beautiful and FUN!!! Hey 19- please come back to Harrisburg XL!
Having seen Steely D, twice, and having good friends recommend I see Hey 19, I knew what to expect . I was not dissappointed, and neither was anyone else, as far as I could tell. Their music was true to the original, with a few riffs thrown in , and a wide span of Dan, from all the albums. 2 hours of great entertainment! I'll see them again and will bring more Danophiles!
Totally enjoyed Hey Nineteen concert at XL Live in Harrisburg PA. Listened to them prior to purchasing tickets on YouTube so had an idea that it was going to be a good show. Totally totally exceeded my expectations will definitely go and see them again.
Music was great but they didnt play the songs everyone knows. I wish the popular songs would have been performed.
As close to the real deal as you can get, maybe better - spot on. Never heard of them before and took the spontaneous opportunity to have a fun night out with my husband. Vocalists/Musicians clearly connect with one another having a totally good time. Great venue with sounds of Steely D nailed down.
