H.E.R. on Tour

H.E.R.'s smooth-as-butter voice and romantic R&B melodies have the power to leave you weak in the knees. She may have concealed her identity for the first few years of her career and still likes to hide behind thick sunglasses when performing, but it doesn't hold back her magnetism onstage.

Her first major performances came in 2017, at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards and the BET Experience concerts. She then supported Bryson Tiller on his Set It Off tour, before heading out on her first headlining run with The Lights On tour. She followed that with her I Used to Know Her tour, as well as appearances at major festivals around the U.S. and Europe.

H.E.R. Background

When H.E.R. first released music in 2016, nobody knew it was child prodigy Gabriella Wilson behind the moniker. It took nearly two years and a handful of EPs for her to finally reveal her identity. She's said that the reason for keeping that secret so long was that she wanted her music to speak for itself — and it sure has.

But Wilson's story starts well before her days as H.E.R. Born in Vallejo, California, the budding singer was always surrounded by music at home and became especially fond of artists like Prince and Lauryn Hill. She learned to play numerous instruments, including piano and guitar, and by age 12 she was competing on Radio Disney's The Next BIG Thing.

Two years later, she signed to RCA and released the single "Something to Prove." It wasn't until late 2016 that she took on the name H.E.R., an acronym for "Having Everything Revealed." At just 19 years old, she released her debut EP, H.E.R. Vol. 1, an intimate set of silky R&B that came with public praise from big names like Usher, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna. It peaked at No. 28 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

H.E.R. Vol. 2 followed in 2017 and took her even higher on the chart. Later in 2017, she combined the two EPs for H.E.R., which also featured six new tracks, including "Best Part," her dreamy duet with Daniel Caesar. The album was a hit, both on the Billboard charts and at the 2019 Grammy Awards, where it was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best R&B Album.

    Great artist, good performance

by Mimi on 6/19/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Overall we enjoyed the concert, however, we expected it to be a little longer for the value paid. The whole experience lasted about 80 minutes

My husband loves her so much her album is on, on every road trip. Bought him tickets for our anniversary and when I saw his mood during the concert I was happy. He was singing like he was up there with her. The experience was one of his best and great one for me as well. From the location to the artist was memorable!!!

    How concerts should be

by Joko on 6/18/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

H.E.R. went on a little after 8pm. She played an hour and a half set. The tickets were affordable and it was overall a great experience. It was also very intimate at the venue. I wish this is how concerts were as opposed to large venues with long lines and tickets being thousands of dollars. This was a great show!

    Intimate and electric!!!

by JaeandEroc on 6/18/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

HER’s chill demeanor, refined vocals, and guitar skills made this show amazing!!! We danced, sang along, and rocked out at the end. HER crossed genres seamlessly and cohesively. Her band is equally amazing and complemented her unique style. Best concert of the year.

Amazing show; Meet & Greet Package was a letdown

    by DH on 1/23/23

Saw a great show on 6/2/22 at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, CT. H.E.R was phenomenal and I had a great time in the front row. The biggest disappointment was the Meet & Greet cancelation. I paid $398.65 for my single "H.E.R. Meet & Greet Package", but when I got to the venue, staff informed me this had been canceled and did not offer an explanation. This was very disappointing and many others in my row shared the same sentiment. I still have not been reimbursed for the missing Meet & Greet. I think it's important for the H.E.R./Ticketmaster team to communicate effectively with fans to make sure everyone is happy about their overall experience, even if something needs to be cancelled or postponed.

H.E.R. Was an experience I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED!!!!

    by Hey Hayla on 10/10/22

H.E.R. Is so incredibly talented. She played the electric, bass, and autistic guitar, AND the piano while singing live. I’ve never seen anything like it before! Her stage presence is one of a legend and her music is just so timeless. She sings a majority of her hits live but still takes you back to the basics with her more elastic songs. The entire stage was on fire and her background vocalists and band had the whole audience shook! She even came out of the screen during one of her songs. Lots of money behind the production, this is not a cheap show. Great date night idea also. I loved the back of my mind tour and will be going to more of H.E.R. Shows in the future!! She’s a rockstar!!!!!

Low Budget Show that cost too much

by AMY on 7/6/22Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

She showed up an hour and a 1/2 late. 7:30 show and she came out at 9. The opening act was some local person who was only on stage for 30 min. The venue was poorly set up with no visual screens for people for people in the back with no way to see the stage. Everyone was standing up so that made it even harder to see the stage from my seat. All I could do was hear the music. We didn't even known it was over until we noticed people leaving. No finale she just left stage. Shes certainly not famous enough for that. Never going to HER show again or the Red Hat Amphitheater. Terrible experience. A waste of $80

    Room for improvement

by So disappointed on 7/4/22Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

Seating at venue not what I thought I paid for. Showtime 7:30, H.E.R. came on stage at 9. I did not pay to hear a DJ play got an hour and there was no mention of an opening act. Although Marz and her sister were very good. When attending a concert, I expect to hear the complete song, not a compilation of songs with only hearing about 90 seconds of each song. Best part of the show was guest singer who did duet and the "rock" jam session.

Sweet!! But a tad bit bitter:):

by Elle.Williams on 6/30/22Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre - Charlotte

Honestly, wish that I could rate 5 stars “ H.E.R and her production was AMAZING!! “ Once we got in and seated “ literally moments before she came on stage “ we for sure ENJOYED the show!! But the check in / line confusion was INSANE!! The entire entry /exit process in general was a bit much “ parking and all “ Oh and I didn’t like the fact that the seats were wet.. But we made due!!

What I have been waiting for!

by Ashley on 6/29/22Daily's Place - Jacksonville

The crowd wasn't what I expected but I enjoyed the show. I have been wanting to see H.E.R in concert. My best friend and I were very disappointed to not have received out V.I.P merch due to not knowing that we were supposed to sign up when arriving at the V.I.P area. I definitely deel the V.I.P process need to be communicated better.
