Well I want to get a copy of the script / lyrics because you do miss a lot of the words; it's the second time I've heard the score and I did catch even more this time around - so much cleverness, I don't want to miss anything. Especially liked George II, Burr and Jefferson. Love the diversity of the cast. The sets were perfect, as were the costumes. The choreography was superb.
Great experience with an amazing and talented cast.
Fantastic story line & historical content. A true educational experience. Loved the diversity of races of the cast members!! A MUST SEE!!!

Performance was wonderful and ushers excellent. Wish the valet line was shorter but they were really hustlng so I dont fault them.
Amazing all around. It was as much fun watching the orchestra from our seats as the show.
The singing and dancing were fabulous! Wonderful, talented actors! Broward Center for the Performing Arts is a great venue.
It was an excellent performance and would like to attend again if the opportunity presented itself. I would see it again and again

I waited a long time to see Hamilton. The reviews have been dazzling. Unfortunately, I could not get understand the lyrics. Rap normally is tough to understand and this experience was no different. While I got a gist of the what was “sung”, I was left empty. The performers and orchestra did their jobs well. I enjoyed watching but…this was not a multi-sensory experience where I left the theater humming.

The entire cast are unbelievably talented. I saw Hamilton when it was streaming due to COVID but seeing it live was so much better. There was nothing I did not like.
So, i live in Knoxville, and Hamilton is coming for two weeks in February. They sold out in one day! So i had to get airlines tickets to fly to fort Lauderdale where the ticket price was affordable to watch Hamilton. Totally worth it. FYI - tickets in Tampa are $200 more than fort Lauderdale and now Knoxville tickets are over $600!! What the heck!! The show though is totally worth the amount you willing to pay. For me- $80.
Being a fan of the original soundtrack, my family and I were excited to finally get to see the show in person. Some of the actors voices were disappointing or really didn’t fit the character. The actor who played Aaron Burr & George Washington were the standout performers. Unfortunately, the actor who played Lafayette/ Thomas Jefferson was really disappointing. No flair. I know it’s hard to live up to Daveed Diggs, but this actor just didn’t have it. The female leads were all pretty good, but none really captured our hearts. All in all, it was a good show, but I do t think it was worth what we paid for orchestra seats. When I pay $180 a seat, I expect to get my moneys worth, and I don’t know if I got that.
After waiting for more than 2 years, I have no words to explain the great show and performance that I witnessed last Sunday! It was spectacular.
The cast was amazing! The show itself was beyond creative how it was portrayed. But, to visually connect to the characters was lost for a while, we see the main characters constantly so an image is burned into our memory. Their was no resemblance of that image attempted in the play, which made it hard to follow at first making you take away from paying attention to the story and spoken word figuring out who was who. No powdered wig on George Washington (who Carvens Lissaint had an incredible skill and voice and played the part wonderfully), Thomas Jefferson didn't have long hair or even spectacles (glasses) again, (played great by David Park), James Madison and so on. Other than that the play is fantastic in all other respects. I just felt it was like having Ken Jeong play Santa Clause without a white beard, glasses or even a red suit. In a play of a bunch of story book characters having to figure out who was who. Lol There are just certain things that automatically relate to someone, like sunglasses to Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder, Yellow Glasses on Bono. Just my opinion, since they are such historical images that we have seen for our entire lives.
Hamilton had years of hype, but it met the high expectations. There is non-stop singing -- you can't even rub your eyes or you'll miss something! I like history so for me this was backstory to what I already knew. My wife wishes she had done a little research so she understood more of what was happening. The lyrics (poetry) are phenomenal. The singers had such beautiful voices. I am not a fan of rap music, but it works and there is other music, too. Someone mentioned to me that they saw Hamilton four times and got something new out of it each time. The story is so rich and fast-paced I could see that being the case. I highly recommend everyone watching Hamilton.
Glorious experience! I am an Usher @ the BCPA in Ft Laud, Fl.. Last year, I ushered Hamilton 14x, this year during it’s 2nd run in our fine city, I ushered it 6x. Sunday night, I bought 2 tickets & immersed myself as a patron. Hamilton is a wonder.
We loved the show, the venue was beautiful and the parking across the street was super convenient. Only issue we had is the lyrics were hard to follow exactly. We'll be watching the movie with sub-titles on.
