I was on the edge of my seat from the first note. I had goosebumps during many parts. I have listened to the original Broadway soundtrack innumerable times, but seeing it live was well worth the ticket. I had my tissue ready for the tears streaming down my face at the end. Amazing staging. Amazing acting, singing, and dancing. It should not be missed. I would see it again and again.
Found the show too long and lacking in variation. The novelty of a rapped play might have made it exciting and new but it didn’t wow me. I also don’t get A. Hamilton or G. Washington being played by black actors. It just doesn’t make it credible and confuses history.
I was blown away with how well the cast performed. The production was outstanding, I feel there should be more historical theatrical productions done in this fashion. I walked away wanting more. If I had learned history this way when I was back in elementary school my grades would have been higher in history and social studies, LOL :)
This play was so fun, creative, educational, and entertaining. Highly recommend.
Hands down, the best show I have ever seen (and I've seen plenty). Outstanding cast, music, setting, performances! Masterfully created and beautifully performed. The show is entirely sung, but so easy to follow. It's beautifully written, so the characters are rich and the show just flows. It's been a week, and I'm still singing the songs and playing the soundtrack. This is a MUST SEE SHOW!
This is the way to learn history. The best musical I have seen in years. It was awesome, I downloaded the music at intermission and the choreography was amazing. What a great way to spend mother’s Day with my family.
I've listened to the recording a hundred times, but on stage the humor really shines! All the performers were amazing. My husband was skeptical(not a huge fan of musical theater), but he enjoyed every bit of it too.
From the staging, choreography, lyrics, costuming, acting, acting and lighting...this show was the best touring musical that I have ever seen. I appreciate that it is touring and I am in hopes to see it again and again!
Cast, production, music, choreography, sound, precision, etc all exceeding my expectations. I was blown away and would definitely recommend seeing this play.

Hamilton lived up to all of the hype and more. One year ago I was going to see the play in Chicago. Then a friend told me that Hamilton was touring. I was so excited! I learned more about Alexander Hamilton in 2 hours than I did in 4 years of high school history. The cast is wonderful. The entire production is "spot on" Excellent work. Bravo...bravo!!!!!
It was amazing! The staging, transitions, and music were exceptionally done.

Hamilton is an experience you will never forget. Not only are you learning about the history of our nation, but you are also learning about where history has brought us to. The historical stories mixed with the modern rapping is genius. One negative was that they did not have a record for purchase, they only had a CD. I listen to CD's in my car, but record players are making a comeback and I wish they had one for purchase!
Hamilton is a 5 star show. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that it was extremely difficult getting tickets (even with a pre-sale code) and the only tickets I could get were in a right box with the stage was partially obstructed.
Let me start by saying I am not a huge fan of rap music. Hamilton is a superior production and should be seen by everyone. A Chorus Line has been my absolute favorite musical for a very long time but I have to say Hamilton is currently tied for the best ever title. I would go back and see it again just to make sure I did not miss anything. Totally amazing with an awesome group of performers. TOP of the heap! I now understand why this show has won such high acclaim.
Hamilton in Houston was fabulous. It definitely lived up to the hype. Lin is a genius.
Can't say enough about this show- music and voices were incredible- would love to see it again soon. Clever staging and choreography.
