HAMILTON is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre--a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.
With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy®, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

Just attended Hamilton, it was wonderful. Nothing I can do it but we got the B team. Nothing is more sad then when you sit down in your seats and open up your program and see that white piece of paper in there with tonight‘s performer changes.
The show was excellent, it had drama, action, romance, fantastic muscial arrangements, dancing, the cast was phenomal....I saw it twice in one week and I would go back again in a hearbeat!
Although live was long going through the metal sector, it went smoothly. The play was excellent and the “rap” songs were executed with clarity and a pace which made the words easy to understand.

The show was fantastic! Love the venue, except a large number of people were led to seats after the first song was over, which blocked our view for a considerable amount of time, which was not appreciated.
The show was amazing. Love the atmosphere and history in the building. we sat in the upper balcony, and the cold was almost unbearable, blowing on us for three hours. it was a nice spring day temperatures in the high 70s and I should’ve brought a winter coat.
Very energetic and fast moving. Singing was powerful and excellent. Speaking was sometimes hard to understand, but my hearing is less than perfect. I'm not into rap, but I still enjoyed it. Too bad ticket prices are so high. But despite this, the theater was packed.
The sound mix at the Orpheum was out of balance in our seats. Often piano and drums drowned out the lyrics in this performance. Expected more from especially as this was the end of the run. Often vocals drifted in and out of the mix depending on which way the cast was facing.
Bring tissues. The intense immersion into the lives of A Ham, A. Burr, Angelica and Eliza is a rush of powerful emotions with a wide range. The comedy was on point and the stage props and theatrical lighting was so well done. I loved watching this brilliant group of young ambitious minds deliver such a compelling performance. CRYING AGAIN AAAHHHHH
We enjoyed the play so very much. We were 3 generations in attendance and every on love the production.
My 12 year old daughter and I saw Hamilton at the Old National Theater. We had seats in row NN on the right. I did not realize the balcony above us would be so low it actually blocked the upper part of the set on the stage. We also had a very tall gentlemen sit directly in front of us, and the seats are not staggered so I stared at the back of his head the entire time. I am 5' 8" so not exactly short, but there is virtually no slope to the floor so the visibility is extremely limited. My daughter commented that at least she had watched it on Disney +, so since she couldn't see, she was able to picture in her head what was going on. Also, the mic on Hamilton was very low, so if he was talking by himself it was very difficult to hear. We drove 2 hours to see this show, and I will never buy orchestra level tickets at this theater again. It was extremely disappointing that we couldn't see and it was a birthday present for my daughter which made it even worse. It was a sold out show and there was no place to relocate to. Also, if they end up selling handicap accessible seats to individuals that do not require a wheelchair, they put a very tall folding chair in that spot, which totally blocks the view of the person behind them. So never buy a seat behind an accessible spot. A huge let down for a show that we had been looking forward to for months.
This show was absolutely amazing!! Music was so powerful it brought me to tears!!
This is my second time seeing the show. First time was in Chicago. Not sure why, but I assumed the performances would not be as good or that the set would not be as good and did not imagine the stage turntable that added a special deliverance and depth to the show would even be a part. I was blown away by the incredible vocals, acting, and incredible set with turntable! Great job, Indianapolis!
Had an amazing time at Hamilton! The cast was incredible and the performance was outstanding! We loved it! Well worth it!

The performance was excellent! The actors were phenomenal. The venue sucked. Long lines just to get to our seats. No heads up about the parking situation. There was a conflict with our seats and we were the ones moved even though we were there first. I won’t be going back to the Old National theater.
Love the show, just a bit difficult to understand/comprehend what some of the actors are saying. This was our 2nd time to see the show & felt the same way the first time; was hoping that we would be able to catch on easier this time, but no such luck. Its too bad that there isn't any way to have closed-captioning! lol
Very well performed. At some points you forget you’re watching a live performance and it feels like you’re watching a giant screen. I feel the performer playing Hamilton could’ve projected his voice a little louder at times. Hard to hear in some moments. Overall I’d pay to see it again.
