    Amazing Concert

by Collin on 11/25/19House of Blues Boston presented by Cricket Wireless - Boston

The concert was absolutely incredible. First off the opener Opiuo was fantastic. He played the synth pads with drumsticks live with amazing lighting and visuals. The visuals for Sneakers were soooo good. And the incorporation of live trumpet with Balkan Bump added so much. Then when Gramatik came on the lighting was superb as well as the set design and song choices. I particularly liked the backdrop for DLIMF. Overall 10/10 experience would definitely see again!!!

Openers were great. Gramatik not so much

    by S. on 11/4/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

I’m a big Gramatik fan but I have to say for my first live concert with them, I was not impressed. The openers were far better. Venue as always was fantastic. Love the Apple Pay option.

Gramatik, please play YOUR good stuff!

    by Paul404 on 3/5/18Tabernacle - Atlanta

I fell in love Gramatik's music on Pandora, where I heard such unique and awesome tunes as Balkan Express, Just Jammin', Muy Tranquilo and many others, His live show at Tabernacle was very good but it was not exceptional because I did not hear any of these tunes nor did I hear any of the sort of music that I believe makes him an exceptional artist. When he sticks to "his" music, it is truly unforgettable, but when he just becomes another hip-hop or electronic music-spinning DJ, then he loses that uniqueness. For that reason--though I think HIS original stuff is five star all the way--I give this particular show three stars because I hardly heard any of that good stuff.

    Killed the Funk

by gramatikfan on 9/14/15Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Gramatik came out and introduced the special guest horn section, and the crowd lost their minds. The beats began, the lasers and visuals morphed along to the sounds. He started off at the stroke of 11 and kept the funkstep/future funk going until midnight, when he switched over to his dirty, classic-sounding "dubstep." Playing to a generally older crowd, the energy was minimal, but nonetheless it didn't stop Gramatik from playing every hit. Even some crowd-favorites like the collaborations he's done with GRiZ to create the mighty GRiZmatik; My People and Digital Liberation Is Mad Freedom. Confetti fluttered through the air as the night came to a disappointing, yet inevitable end. Aside from looking like we all just got done from swimming with our clothes on, there wasn't a face that wasn't plastered with a permanent smile. Gramatik killed it like always, blowing our twisted minds with the funk!
