About

Godsmack were a big part of the late ’90s hard rock revival, and they’ve continued to lead the way for legacy rock acts with three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, 28 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, three Grammy nominations and over 20 million albums sold worldwide. The quartet formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1995 and played their first shows in Boston bars before recording their 1997 independent album, All Wound Up…, which was later reworked as their quadruple-platinum, major label debut, Godsmack, in 1998. The band’s profile grew as they joined the Ozzfest tour in 1999 and 2000, dropped their sophomore album Awake on Halloween 2000 and earned their first two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with the album’s title track and 2002’s “I Stand Alone” from The Scorpion King soundtrack. Ahead of the release of 2003’s Faceless, Godsmack assembled their long-standing core lineup of founding members Sully Erna and Robbie Merrill along with guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. The album kicked off a three-album streak of Billboard 200 No. 1 debuts including 2006’s IV and 2010’s The Oracle. The band collected their second career platinum-certified single with “Bulletproof” off 2018’s When Legends Rise, which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2023, the band unveiled their eighth studio album, Lighting Up the Sky.

    Another awesome Godsmack show

by Melanie on 3/21/24The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

The guys from Godsmack put on a fantastic show at the Fillmore in Miami Beach, as always! They never disappoint! This was a completely different show from their full on rock show, but just as good. It was definitely interesting to see a different side of them with this show. I will be looking forward to seeing them again next time around! Love these guys!

    Great show as usual

by Tirk on 3/20/24Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater - St Petersburg

I didnt feel like the opening act fit the bill at all, the guy was okay but not the type of music most Godsmack fans want to here to gear you up for the show. That being said, Godsmack was excellent as usual. Opening up with Floyd's Time was awesome, the Scar's foundations 10 yr old ambassador made everybody weep and really feel the song 'Under my scars"closing out the gig with the Doobie Brothers was also great!

    Great show!

by Ashley on 3/20/24The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

Thankfully they had signs up outside which helped us find where we needed to go. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful. The venue was clean and looked good. The seats were comfortable. There was an outdoor area for smoking which was appreciated. They had vegetarian options for food which I was not expecting but very happy about being in vegetarian. The food and drinks were very spendy. But we’re still good. Not my first time seeing godsmack, but as always , they do not disappoint. They put on an incredible show every time we see them! We will see them again!

    Legends Rise!!

by Pagan Dan on 3/19/24The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

I’ve seen Godsmack over 20 times in the last 25 years! They never disappoint! I hope they come down more often! This venue was smaller than I expected but it made it more intimate. Which we were completely ok with!

    Best of both worlds

by Jin on 3/19/24Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater - St Petersburg

Got to see Godsmack in a small venue acoustic show. It was high energy, great visual effects, and felt like we were hanging out with friends. Definitely, want to see them aagin!

    Age is creeping up

by Mattyice on 3/19/24The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

This is Godsmacks equivalent of MTV’s unplugged shows. More intimate venues, more acoustic numbers, more covers of other bands, less iron ore. Voodoo and Bulletproof were just awesome as the band rocked it out. The L.E.D. background(s) were truly majestic. Honestly the other parts of the show….big yawn.

    Close but no cigar

by Lefty on 3/19/24The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

I have loved Godsmack for over 25 years. I have seen them many times. It was a good show, but I was disappointed. VIP status did not even get me a T-shirt or something to eat. No one at the venue could guide me to where I was supposed to go, if there were other VIP services. For some reason, Godsmack decided not to play many of their greatest hits. Instead, they played a song by the Doobie Brothers. I wish that they had played more of the songs that made them famous. Close, but no cigar.
