    Fantastic!!

    by Chidis on 10/30/23

Saw Ms Hill at Ravinia and again at the United Center. Both sets were amazing. She is so talented and the new interpretations of Miseducation are phenomenal. Seeing the Fugees together again was so much fun as well. Am going to see them at another stop on the tour, don’t miss this!

    Loved the show!

    by Gi on 10/23/23

Overall, It was a great show. It was scheduled to begin at 7:30. There are no openers, so we had to wait. Her Dj didn't come on until 8:45. Lauryn came on maybe 30 minutes afterwards. Music: She still can SANG. She did have a slight cold, but I wouldn't have known if she wouldn't have told us. Seats and View: We sat in the 200 section and the way that the speakers were positioned, blocked the screen. It was difficult to see sometimes. She had a main screen in the back showing different images. That screen should have shown the concert and there should have been small screens on the side for images. She remixed many of her originals, but rumor has it that she can no longer perform them in the original form. I think it has something to do with owning the masters or something like that. Anyways, I still knew the songs and was singing away with her! I'm proud of you Lauryn! People always want to criticize her. Let the girl live yall! It's not easy being in her shoes. Stop judging Lauryn based on her past. What if someone treated you based on your past and you have evolved? I would see her again. The Fugees rocked it out as well! Lauryn sang Killing Me Softly the original way! I loved it! I mos def got my monies worth. The concert wasn't over until a little after 11! I had a great time!

    Insulted

    by Reddstar on 10/22/23

After being a fan for years, teaching my children the music, I was insulted of the experience. The sound was horrible. I could feel the energy and could see that Ms. Hill still has the talent but the horrible sound ruined the show. I travelled to see them and left deflated. I need a more intimate concert because they are not a large arena act any longer. Spend more money on the sound and less on an orchestra.

    Absolutely Amazing!

    by Marc Anthony on 8/24/23

Here is the truth: Ms. Hill cant apease everyone. And she's not trying to. However please know that when she hits that stage, she is bringing the best of her energy, the best of her ability with the beat musicians backing her!!!! She puts her heart and soul into her performances! I have seen her live so many times and I will continue to come as long as she's willing to perform! Her ability to rearrange the songs to keep them fresh is so remarkable and she still plays the songs just like the record! Vibrant beautiful stunning fashion icon and vocals! Ms. Hill owes me nothing! I thank her for her artistry and dynamic performances over the years! Everything else you hear is hypebeast and repetitive unnecessary commentary! "Im saving souls and they complaining about my lateness"-MLH

Lauryn’s Back & Worth The Experience

    by Thee Dahhhhling on 8/24/23

Like many others, I read the comments about Lauryn Hill before I saw her in concert because the media had me believing the absolute worst about her show etiquette. I saw how others felt about the remix or her music, how short her set was for the amount of time that they waited and… etc. Yet, I did NOT allow the negative comments influence my experience. I witnessed Lauryn for the first time ever in Atlanta at One Music Festival — SHE WAS PHENOMENAL! I was in awe of her beauty, her talent and her ability to still make the best out of her circumstances — regarding performing the original sound of her music. I understand why she does what she does and it is of no detriment to her craft. She is still hella talented– Her sound is an evolved sound that is so powerful yet so beautiful to her gift. Yes! She was on time! She performed at full capacity and a GOOD TIME was had— we danced her whole set. Lauryn is a whole vibe. She moves by the spirit and vibe of the crowd. So many people have negative thoughts and feelings about her. However, as an avid concert consumer, I will say that I am so glad that I did not judge her by what others alleged or claimed about her. I saw her with fresh eyes and ears — and I can truly say — LAURYN IS BACK! I am so happy that she’s touring with the Fugees. See her for yourself. I believe every experience is different with any artist. The comments can make or break your experience, if you allow it. However, if you can catch her live, I truly believe that she is worth the experience!

    by Momma Margi on 5/21/22

Had the opportunity to see you in concert in Oakland-2021, but the tour was canceled. Waiting again for the opportunity. From El Vado, NM. Please come closer, one of these days. Gotta check you off my bucket list. Love you all! Peace.

Rescheduled 2 days before the show.

    by P.T. on 11/11/21

Flew into Chicago for the show only to fi d out its been rescheduled 2 days before. Disappointing is an understatement. It's really a shame how disrespectful this group and its members are to hip hop through the years. The lack of a modicum or respect for their fans has been going on for 20 years. Done wit em

    Concert was rescheduled twice

    by M. S. on 10/31/21

After paying almost $1500 for 3 tickets, parking, insurance & my husband, daughter & myself calling off of work a month in advance for this fugees concert, a week before the concert the date was changed to 4 months from the date I ordered the tickets for. I ordered them for Nov 2nd 2021. They were rescheduled for March 2nd 2022. These were supposed to be a birthday gift for my daughters 21st birthday and they’ve ruined it. Not to mention trying to get ahold of someone for answers or for a full refund is almost impossible. You can’t even get anyone live on the phone anymore. Everything is now done via email of which forces you to have to wait days before getting a response. Now I just want my money back. I’m livid!

by Xena Maayah on 9/27/21The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New York

they were so late! it was honestly exhausting. we came to see the Fugees, not a DJ playing for 3 hours.
