    Tight....

by Anonymous on 5/16/18Brighton Music Hall - Boston

These guys have been together for almost 30 years and it shows when they play live, super locked in to each other and the songs are well chosen from all through their career. If you like their sound definitely go see them, you will enjoy it. Slightly repetitious, but what band isn't. Check out the FU.....

    Nobody like the FU

by Pdoubles on 5/22/14Mercury Lounge - New York

I have been a fan of Fu Manchu ever since I heard them open up for Clutch back in 96. These guys are still the real deal never changing their sound and giving the fans whether it's a big venue or small like the Mercury lounge a real fuzzed out guitar jamming performance. Maybe us fans got older but we still know and respect these masters of "stoner rock" . The heads never stopped bopping and air guitar was in full effect. These legends remain humble and take time to talk to fans and I am happy to be a long time fan and for life. Next time you see Fu Manchu listed to play in your city don't miss out!

Fu Manchu nails another perfect show

by DaveLoPan on 4/21/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

This is the 5th time I've seen Fu Manchu, and this may be the best they've ever sounded. Setlist was top notch, included the entire Action Is Go Album, plus a few other live staples in the encore. The only slight disappointment was they didn't play Godzilla, my favorite track to hear live. All of the deep cuts were played with the same gusto and energy as the concert standards like Evil Eye and King of the Road, so it was excellent to hear rarities like Urethane, Strolling Astronomer, and Trackside Hoax live. The only other downer was some punkass threw a beer at Scott Hill during Nothing Done and he stormed off stage (understandably) so that killed the vibe a little. Otherwise, Fu Manchu consistently puts on the best concerts I've ever been too

    Fu Manchu!

by palomamarizz on 4/20/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

They are an amazing band and the show was very good, the only problem was that the venue didn't have an amazing sound equipment, I guess, the sound was weird, could be better, they deserve that, they're a guitar band, basically.

The Action Is Go! full album performance

by morrisaurus on 4/20/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

Great, great show by a band that is truly in their element live. Fun time if you are a fan of Fu Manchu. During the last song, some d-bag in the audience hit the singer w/ a water bottle. He gave the finger, finished the song off stage, and then they finished. Had a quick huddle back stage and then came back out for the encore. Professional! Thanks Fu Manchu for sticking w/ your set and being pros. I'm sure they were used to this kind of thing over the years.

    Fu Manchu was Full On!

by natalio on 9/14/10The Triple Rock Social Club - Minneapolis

Quite simply, Fu rocked The Triple Rock. Chu know it! I saw a great band, with a great deep groove, and sizzlin' leads, not to mention authority in the vocal dept. And while wishin' most others were the same, I won't find it readily. With a modern engine revin' after 20 years they hit it hard, seriously old schoolin' the audience. New bands can learn from them for sure. Still, these guys are young and with it though--don't get me wrong. Lively entertainers they are for sure. Simple surfin' cruisin' and dippin' they gave the crowd a great ride, and a west coast strut retaining the rootsy hard rock hearkening from, to me, a Detroit quality. All true surfers, punkers, and skaters, make it just riders in general, no doubt would dig em. I love these guys, o.g. for sure, showin' us how it's done. What a great rock n roll band.
