    I could not follow most of his monologue.

    In general he was too soft spoken/far away from mic and way too fast. I had no time to comprehend or digest any information. I did admire that he gave a seemingly unfaltering presentation for almost 90 min. almost without taking a breath...or maybe that was just me. Too bad I really wanted to learn more about Frederic Douglas but that did not happen.

    Outstanding One Man Show about SO MUCH

    Mr Smith has crafted a mesmerizing , intense, comical, heartfelt & politically strident piece of art. I could not take my eyes off of him for most of the show. His timing, pace & unpredictability made for a fantastic experience. The weaving of American Slavery/ Abolitionist history with present day was exceptionally well done. I highly recommend this performance for people of all colors & ages.
