About

Five Finger Death Punch are a heavy metal band founded in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band released their first album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Their 2009 follow-up War Is the Answer kicked off eight consecutive Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200, including three back-to-back No. 2 debuts for 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and 2015’s Got Your Six. Meanwhile, the group earned RIAA platinum certifications for their 2010 cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” a 2018 remix of Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s “Blue on Black” featuring Shepherd, Brian May of Queen and country singer Brantley Gilbert and the 2020 single “A Little Bit Off” from the band’s eighth album, F8. Overall, 5FDP have logged 14 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In 2022, the band released their ninth album AfterLife. Five Finger Death Punch consists of founding member and guitarist Zoltan Bathory, vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen.

    Best Monday Night Party

by Mister Fantastic on 12/9/22Target Center - Minneapolis

The only reason why this review is a 4 star and not a 5 star is because of the pre-party food. The quality of the food that was served was fine. Just needed more choices and more quantity. The venue was great. I was sitting in section 101. The bands were Fantastic!

Great venue but the sound quality was TERRIBLE

by Bova on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Again the venue was great buy the sound quality was probably the worst I've endured in my lifetime

    Awesome

by Kat on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Awesome performers!!!!!!!! Light shows were too intense for indoor show. Blinded all of the audience!!! FFDP was better but still too distracting to actually look in the direction of the artists:performers! Big jumbo-tron screen would have been super cool! Why the tiny screen behind super strobe stage lights????? First two bands too loud, garbled mushy sound! FFDP was much better but still could have had better sound in that venue.

    Great Show, but Too Short

by Lisa on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Loved the show. The energy of the band, especially the lead singer, Ivan Moody, was tremendous and fun to watch. He was very talkative with the audience, which I enjoyed. Great sound and vocals. Unfortunately, they only played 1 hour and 15 min. The length of the show was a huge disappointment. It was my first time seeing them and I really wanted to hear so many more of their songs.

    Love them now more!

by QueenGeek79 on 12/8/22Coliseum at Alliant Energy Center - Madison

It was just a great show overall. I was iffy about country openers, but they are more like southern rock, and I liked them. And of course 5FDP ROCKED IT HARD!!!

    Authentic Inner Narratives

by Sunshine on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

I enjoyed 5FDP more than I thought I would. They are not typically my first genre of music. I appreciate that I could hear and understand the lyrics. They are poignant and deserve to be highlighted. To me, they tell the inner narrative we never share with the world. 5FDP has created an authentic place in an abrasive genre that I can truly appreciate.

    Energy

by V Man on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

I think the band was surprised by the size of the crowd. It was packed. Possibly some Brantley Gilbert fans there, but the main attraction was FFDP. They were loud, lots of energy and I enjoyed the personal stories between the songs. I’d go see them again.

    Awesome

    by B on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

I loved the concert, Brantley was an awesome choice in opening. FFDP was awesome as always, I just wish they played more songs.

Music & band was great! Lighting sucked! We'r sat in sec 138

by Jules on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

We were in Sec 138 & the lights behind the band were too bright, couldn't see the band. The big screen wasn't on either.

    The best so far.

    by CB23 on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Honestly, out of all the concerts I’ve been too, this was BY FAR my favorite. Having two different genres of music made the whole vibe of this night indescribable. And their performance was incredible. Both of them.

    Excellent show

by Kim on 12/8/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - Scranton

We got there as a first band was playing. We got decent parking close to VIP by the time we got there is about 15 minutes before five finger Death Punch came in and played. They sounded like the first time I’ve heard them at montage before the weather was good. just really came out to see that band crowd was there. They all got into it especially out in the yard. They’re all having fun. I really don’t know what they could do better every time I go up there for a show. I always have a good time.

    Party of 5

by AGA on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Target center was great. Fast beverage service, fast will call. Seemed to have a lot of capacity. There was an attendant in the bathroom full time wiping counter tops, picking up paper towel, moping. I was happy to give him a nice tip. Clean. The Target center was super impressive. As for the show, good too. Brantley Gilbert was impressive. Never heard him before and thought he was great. 5 finger - Good enough, but not great. Lead singer tried to get crowd to sing with him too much. Occasionally is fine for some songs but not all the time. He could also back off on the F word. Just too much.

by TJ on 12/8/22Target Center - Minneapolis

Absolutely amazing show and well managed by Target Center. Felt safe and secure in the pit with no real concerns besides all the pot smoke and pipes around us.
