About

FIGURE IN CONCERT:

Drumstep DJ Figure conjures a haunted house vibe at his live shows, as fans of the macabre and Figureís banging productions dance with wicked abandon. Ticket buyers brave enough to enter the demented mind of this musical madman are in for an all-out audiovisual assault, built on the warbling bass of dubstep and the accelerated tempos of drum and bass. For each monster mashup, Figure sprinkles his hard and fast sounds with horror movie samples to create catchy hooks, all the while looping scary movie clips on several gigantic screens. Since he always gives his recordings away for free through streaming services, fans love to turn up and turn it out at his stadium sets to pay him back, and Figure treats them to new tricks every diabolical step of the way.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Evansville, IN-born Josh Gard, AKA Figure, has quickly become one of the most successful DJs working today thanks to his uniquely spooky brand of dance music. He achieved widespread acclaim in 2011 with the release the Monsters of Drumstep, Vol. 1, and after six more installations of the Monsters series heís built a reputation for setting it off for packed crowds. In addition insane sets at festivals like EDC, Snowglobe, Starscape, and Tomorrow World, the famous DJís horror-themed productions have also been featured on Itís Always Sunny in Philadelphia and used in mazes during Universal Studiosí Halloween Horror Nights. Over the years Figure has collaborated with diverse artists including Diplo, Deltron3030, Tommy Lee, BT, and Borgore. In 2015 he stepped out of his signature drumstep niche to release the well-received electronica album Gravity. No matter the genre, Figure always has fans living it up at his thrilling and chilling DJ sets.

    FIGURE AT SOUNDGARDEN HALL

by BBJAMN on 9/24/12SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

This was an awesome show at an awesome venue. The location was perfect being right across from Festival Pier. The only down fall was that ididnt realize it was BYOB and i had to run back out to get stuff. That wasnt too big of a deal except i could only drink in the "VIP" area. The venue itself is awesome though! O and yea FIGURE killed it!! So sick like always!

House of Hearts brought the E Factory to its Knees

by MegRage on 4/20/12The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

This was one of the best shows I've ever been to. I have always loved E Factory as a venue but House of Hearts completely transformed it! The sets, the music, the energy and the overall vibes were spectacular. The openers killed it and FIGURE brought it so hard it was impossible not to rock out! Overall a well-organized event; you could see how much effort was put into making this an unforgettable night. House of Hearts knows what they're doing for sure; their events are not to be missed!!

    What a show!

by shirtlessraver on 4/16/12The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

All the dj's killed it, especially mojo risin and love city dj's. The crowd was wild, dancing, pure happy energy, it was outrageous.. Then figure got on and destroyed it with his monster tracks, and also played some fresh prince, snoop, rage, and nirvana mixes. I would definately go to another show for any of these guys. And house of hearts threw a great blacklight party, people were all painted up, glowsticks, the wgole atmosphere made this night a rollllll! I remember dancing when no music was playing because i eas so into it. Great show, one of the best night of my life
