So my daughter had state championships here this past weekend and the people nice but the food is expensive and terrible. And why is it cold enough to hang meat in there? Like I had a sweater and a jacket on with jeans and I was still cold.
Awesome venue- however wrestlers need healthy food snacks and Gatorade and water in between matches and food was extremely expensive and not what wrestlers usually eat. And parents were not allowed to bring their kids healthy alternatives. $5 for a small Gatorade and $4 just for a bottle of water đĽ˛
My grandson was wrestling in the 132lb and won 2nd place. We are so proud of him. Can't wait for next year.
It was a wonderful event. I had handicap parking and handicap seating. Both made it very accessible and enjoyable for me. It would have been nice if we could bring water and food in the building. I am a diabetic and it would have been better if I could have brought my own food. Also, the food and water was very expensive.
Hard to even be excited for this event even when your kids could be in the finals and you still will feel drained and like youâre time is being wasted along with the amount of money spent to just be there. $10 a day for parking $30 total then $100s In tickets and no food or drink allowed in at 3 day long events all food inside is marked up 3x and taste horrible like itâs cooked with old oil. $15 for two chicken tenders that taste like fish and some fries So we are at $145 for 3 days of an event thatâs ran very slow and in-efficiently.
Everything was great, easy to access the tickets. Kinda pricey but it was worth it.
No reason to price gouge families & their kids, snacks & drinks are too much as this is not like going to see a famous band or entertainer. Parking should include all days if buying a 3 day ticket.
The arena was very nice, but it cost 28.00 to get into the second day per person. I heard MANY people very unhappy with the cost of the event. FHSAA should reconsider charging families so much or consider offering families who need to go to support their children a discount or free ticket.
Wrestling was great!!! Venue was suited for the event⌠paid almost as much for parking as the cost of the ticket.. A little ridiculous for a HS event to park in a field⌠first day took over an hr to get in the door⌠needed more attendants.
Over all good experience for viewers. I learn something new each time I attend.
