Fan & Venue Safety

Let's help keep each other safe.

We’re encouraging venues everywhere to adopt social distancing and sanitization measures to help keep fans and staff as safe as possible. As venues start opening up again, an event's status may change due to developing safety policies, but we'll keep you posted if that's the case.

Please Note: Each venue determines their own guidelines according to local safety regulations, so be sure to check the venue site for more detailed info before going to an event.

  • Contactless Entry

Your phone is your ticket, so it never has to change hands when you enter a venue or transfer tickets, helping maintain social distancing from the start.

  • Socially Distanced Seating

We've rolled out a variety of features to help venues moderate capacity, including socially distanced seating maps and grouped ticketing packages.

Potential Safety Measures

Here are some of the safety precautions venues are taking, which you may encounter when attending an event.

  • Mask Required

The venue is requiring fans to wear a mask during the event in public areas (specifics will vary).

  • Clean Venue

Indicates a comprehensive venue safety plan, where steps to sanitize surfaces throughout have been taken before, during and after the event.

  • Social Distancing

From grouped seating to in-venue boundaries, the recommended six feet of distance will be reinforced throughout the experience for a safe distanced event.

  • Temperature Checks

Fans will be asked to submit to contactless temperature checks before entering the venue.

  • Timed Entry

In order to promote social distancing and reduce exposure, fans will enter the venue at designated entry times.

  • Drive-In Only

The event will take place as a drive-in experience and fans will be asked to stay inside or close to their vehicle throughout the event.

  • Hand Sanitizer Stations

Fans can access various hand sanitizing stations that will be located throughout the venue.

  • What does it mean if my event is postponed?

If an event has been postponed, it means the Event Organizer is still working to determine whether the event will be rescheduled or canceled; in the meantime, your tickets (including any updates or add-ons, such as parking) are still valid and no further action is required. When the Event Organizer cancels or reschedules the event, we’ll notify you of the new status and explain your options. Also, in some instances, the Event Organizer may give you the option to request a refund, or the option to choose between a refund or a credit. If that is the case, we will notify you of those options. Please note that any refund and/or credit policies are determined on an event-by-event basis by the Event Organizers, and may be subject to limitations set by the Event Organizer. Please see our Purchase Policy for details.

  • What does it mean if my event is rescheduled or moved?

If an event is rescheduled or moved, your tickets (including any upgrades or add-ons, such as parking) are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. In some instances, the Event Organizer may give you the option to request a refund, or the option to choose between a refund or a credit. If that is the case, we will notify you of those options. Please note that any refund and/or credit policies are determined on an event-by-event basis by the Event Organizers, and may be subject to limitations set by the Event Organizer. If the Event Organizer changes the status of an event, we will send you a notification. For the most up-to-date information regarding schedule changes and any credit and/or refund options, please sign into your online account, then select your event. You can also find a comprehensive list of events with status and scheduling changes on our Event Status Update page.

  • How long does it take to receive a refund?

Timing may vary. We will process your refund once funds have been approved by, and received from, the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days.

  • Where can I find the list of safety measures being implemented at the event?

Each venue determines their own guidelines according to local safety regulations, so check the venue site for more detailed info before going to an event.
