About

Introspective poetry is seen in an entirely new light within the words and heartfelt emotions poured into every word written by Ethan Jewell. After finding solace and comfort in writing, the poet took to TikTok to share his art with the world, and the response was outstanding. From his first viral video of his original single “Snowglobe” which received over 1.7 million views, to releasing a clip of “Bouquet” which saw even greater success with over 5.6 million views, Jewell has yet to slow his momentum.

His debut album “Live from Planet Ok” (December 2019) saw immediate success; securing over 1M streams within the first month of the release. In addition to the aforementioned viral pieces, the album includes popular tracks “The King” and “Reporting Live”; all of which helped pave his way into the spoken word music scene. Garnering a loyal fanbase almost immediately, fans and followers cannot get enough of the artist’s words, voice, and aura of comfort and support.

Less than a year later, Jewell returned with his sophomore work “Living The Dream,” (August 2020) which featured even more heart wrenching lyricism and out of the box styles. Continuing with his TikTok endeavors, Jewell began to post more and more unreleased poetry as well as motivational and uplifting content. Breaking out of the norm in order to vocalize and normalize feelings and emotion is something he excels at. Within his words, videos, and content, his message is clear. In December 2020, the anticipated single “It’s Getting Bad Again” was released. Receiving over 1.2 million views on the original viral video, the track highlights the physical symptoms that are often untalked about that come with mental health struggles. An immediate fan favorite, the track is his second most streamed to date, acquiring over 2.2 million Spotify streams.

In 2021, the artist has shown no sign of slowing down anytime soon. After receiving over 1.7 million views on TikTok and an abundance of fans and followers yearning for a release, Jewell kicked off the 2021 with “drive thru poem,” which gained him editorial placement on Spotify’s “idk.” playlist. Following the track comes “i feel better when no one remembers i exist,” which saw impressive numbers from the get go. Nearing 150 thousand Spotify streams less than two months after the release, Jewell is building a community and a name for himself in cities across the US and internationally.

Jewell’s most recent single, “something to live for” debuted mid-August, and was the final single before his thirdcoming record loneliness in the presence of company releasing November 12th. Claimed by the poet to be some of his most emotional and vulnerable work yet, the album is nearing the final stages of completion. Album available for presave here.

In addition to the record, Jewell embarks on his first national tour, Lonely Together Tour, in January 2022.
