Erykah Badu / St. Vincent Tickets

Excellent performer! Great presence and truly talented. Had an amazing time.

I was so excited to see her, And than I was truly disappointed, she was on the stage for ONE HOUR, no encore! nothing. The hour was great but it was just a warm up, and she was out. shes not DOWN for her fans is what i felt like. another life time !!!!

Officially NOT a Badu fan. St. Vincent was AMAZING!

If it was another person that open the show like Jill Scott , Sam Smith, Mary J. or even LADY GAGA which I thought this St. Vincent was trying to be the watered down version but not! Even having Erykah Badu by herself on stage would of been just fine. The moment Erykah hit the stage I felt the ticket was worth it. I enjoyed her show that was my 1st time seeing her in person live but a loyal fan since day one. I have all the CD's and yes, I bought them didn't downloaded for free like some people...

Erykah Badu is amazing and she sounded awesome! She is truly one of the best and she gives a great show but for her to be the headliner her set was way too short in my opinion. The opening act St. Vincent performed longer than her and I am sure the majority of the people came to see Ms. Badu. This was my first time seeing her in concert and at such a large venue I expected her to perform for at least an hour and a half. The performance was less than an hour. Other than the length of the performance I have no complaints. Her voice sounded wonderful and she interacts well with the crowd.

My gripe is not with the performers. I thought both ladies were amazing. My issue was the disruptive family sitting directly beside me in section F3. Both the little boy and his father played videogames on an iPad during St. Vincent's set. When I asked them to put it away because the screen is very bright and distracting, the nasty patriarch told me he would proceed to play videogames for the duration of the concert just to annoy me. I complained to about three security staff members and they said they would "talk" with the rude family. I never returned to my seat and my legs were killing me standing around instead of sitting at my assigned $50 seat. Worst experience at the Bowl ever.

I have been looking forward to seeing erykah badu perform since forever and as much as I enjoyed the few songs she performed in one hour, the show was disappointingly brief! She didn't play some of her best hits and only performed for about an hour...so disheartening because I love her music so much. There was no chance for an encore either as the stage was dismantled immediately upon her departure off the stage. I'd love to see a make up show because most fans were so disappointed.

I think the pairing of St.Vincent and Erykah Badu was a very bad idea on someone's behalf. The music styles of both artists are very different and most people that were there to see Erykah could not and did not relate to St.Vincent's music. She is a good artist (St..Vincent) but she was on a little longer that she should have been. Most people were disappointed as I was, because Erykah's set was only 45 mins. and she didn't perform any new music at all. And all it was an average show.. Sorry

St Vincent was ...great, should have been the main attraction and somehow it was !!...great show with crazy performance and dance, nice mix of sounds...a real show... Meanwhile Ms Badu, played a little bit of a "diva' made us wait...quite a bit and perform some old known songs to please the audience.....but play 4 songs after all the waiting.... We hope better judgement on her part next time...be waited on for four songs..uh, I won't go for that again

St Vincent, Rock I am not into she was on stage for one & and half hour. I was ready to leave my ear drums had been cruicified. Recommend mix rock with rock. I would not have put Erykah Badu with St Vincent. Erka Badu put on a great show , sorry it was only for one hour. Recommend Erykah Badu, with Macy Gray,Gill Scott. or try the line up with Smooth Jazz. Erka Badu with Jazz series. Not with rock, I felt cheated next time I will do my research on the group. I would not have paid 100.00 to see St. Vincent & Erykd Badu. Future reference Rock and Cultural Folk music not together.
