Great but a little too versatile
by Stephanie on 5/30/22Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - DenverI have LOVED Emmit’s music for a couple years but this was my first time seeing him live. It’s amazing that he’s such a versatile artist who can go from acoustic to electronic, but I’m a much bigger fan of the acoustic side. I knew this going into it, and I’m not too surprised that the show turned into a hardcore club vibe pretty quickly. No hate on this, it’s just not my style, and it’s so different from the other end of the spectrum where Emmit’s music falls which makes it tough out here as a fan haha. I wonder if anyone else feels the same or if it’s just me. I did also attend the VIP acoustic session which was AMAZING, but I almost wish Emmit would split up his shows into the electronic/club ones and more traditional singer-songwriter concerts or something. Just a thought. Still had a great time and still love Emmit and his music, and the venue was super cool. I’d definitely go back.
