Fresh off a UK stadium tour in support of Ed Sheeran, which included five sold out shows at London's Wembley Stadium - Dylan might only be at the beginning of her journey as one of the UK's most exciting new pop talents, but she's had her sights set on big things since her childhood.
Raised on a diet of classic rock and big riffs, she spent her early years atop her kitchen table, plywood guitar in hand. "I would stand there and shout, 'hello Wembley!' - that's how I started a gig with my band when I was 11 too.", she recalls.
The 22-year-old - whose real name is Tash Woods - might be destined for pop glory, but the influence of more alternative sounds colors her tongue-in-cheek characterization of herself as "a wannabe rock star in a pop star's body". Since 2019, she's been on a journey to find her own voice, moving through more electronic-focused, synth-pop songs ('Good Enough') and mournful piano ballads ('IKWYDLN').
After two EPs, 2021 brought three singles in 'Nineteen', 'You're Not Harry Styles' and 'No Romeo' that started to shape the real Dylan sound - big pop hooks driven by crunchy guitars, candid dissections of her life and loves into incisive, memorable lyrics.
That candidness is part of what has already scored her praise from the likes of Notion, MTV, Vogue Italia, The Line Of Best Fit and BBC Introducing; UK support slots with Yungblud, Bastille, Ed Sheeran and an EU run with Tate McRae; inspiring an incredibly loyal and passionate fanbase to form around her.
As she looks toward a summer of festival performances, a sold out UK headline tour and a steady stream of impeccable pop anthems, Dylan looks destined to continue hooking people into her world, rapidly expanding that fanbase in a big way. As it does so, she's keeping her ambitions fittingly bold. "I want to be respected as a songwriter - for me it really is just about the music," she explains. "And I want to headline Wembley - that's everything I've had my sights on."

I took my 15yo daughter to see the show, not expecting to be into it, but Dylan was amazing!!! She is a natural-born performer, had so much energy and was so mesmerizing to watch!!! We both really loved the show, both Mercer and Dylan!!
A rocker! Lots of fun. Showman. Bravo! Opening act sucked.
Loved the music, loved the vibe! Would definitely see her again!!
we saw dylan open for Ed Sheeran last summer in Philly. i didn’t know who she was prior, but i left the concert listening to her music on repeat. come this spring, i saw she was playing in DC and we decided to get tickets last second (gotta love audit busy season) after watching for a tour closer to home. she delivered! she’s not only an amazing performer, but her humor left us laughing so hard. this was the best feel good, sing as loud as you can type of concert. behind taylor swift, this is the best concert i’ve been to!
On 6/3/23 we saw her opening for Ed Sheeran in Philly. Never heard of her before this concert. She was very good. While i did drive 4+ hours from upstate NY to see Ed Sheeran, im not sure if i would do the same for Dylan. But if she came to Syracuse NY i would definitely do an hour and a half drive to see just her.
Beautiful. Mesmerizing. Great songs. Can’t wait til she blow up and everybody know her name!
I want to the Ed Sheeran mathematics tour at MetLife Stadium and I must say, she did an outstanding job opening for him. She was loud, she was interactive with the crowd, and her energy was amazing. Can't wait for her to go on her own tour.
Such a good stage presence and so talented! Keeping an eye out for her solo tour!
I have to say Dylan did an outstanding job opening for Ed Sheeran’s mathematics tour in Atlanta. I can’t wait for her to come back on her own tour.
