It was good to be back at Drury Lane. I have missed live theater. I knew nothing about Forever Plaid. If it comes back to the area, I would go again. The vocals were very tight, the story really funny, the actors well rehearsed, and the 3 piece orchestra was amazing. Don't miss it!
The energy that the guys brought to this musical was absolutely wonderful. The talent among all four astonishing. Beautiful vocals and acting. Thoroughly enjoyed show. Theatre should make it a little easier for those using canes and walkers. Stairs are the enemy and can result in falls.
I grew up listening to Forever Plaid by virtue of my father playing and singing it on the piano. When I saw it was playing I thought it sounded like great fun. And it was! The venue was very nice, every seat seemed a good seat (though we sat in row CC on the left side, which afforded very close up views). The live musicians were great and the four singers fantastic. It was a great and fun performance, and I'd highly recommend it.
Wonderful, fun show. Actors/Singers were terrific. This venue is always a great place to visit.
Phenomenal show….didn’t want it to end. What harmony!!
There was not much setup or story involved. I am a fan of 50s music but the song selection was weak and did not makeup for the lack of story. The singing and harmonies were good but I was bored and a little disappointed. I was hoping for something similar to million dollar quartet but the songs, characters and story were lacking.
the show was fantastic as they ALWAYS ARE but your mask mandate for seniors you are lucky most didn't pass out trying to climb the stairs on their way out!!!!
Talented actors/singers and musicians. Very well done. Theater is lovely.
These four guys were wonderful singers and they sang so well together. I loved the skit they did about the Ed Sullivan Show. It brought back some old memories.
The show was great., very entertaining. The singers were excellent their voices blended beautifully. They were funny and played their parts well. You truly believed they were the 4 singers who were left in limbo. Would see it again.
