DJ Henri Tickets

dj.henri is the creator of Radio Africa Online, the longest-running African all-music station online, which celebrated its 20th Anniversary last year. The station in fact began as Soukous Radio, spinning more than 1,000 tracks of Congolese music.  dj.henri (in partnership with le poisson rouge) brought the legendary Zaiko Langa Langa in its original form for a New York premiere and also opened a show for master guitarist Diblo Dibala. dj.henri spins African sounds at venues including the Apollo Theater, B.B. King's, Symphony Space, Joe's Pub, and elsewhere.  He's been booked to open for World Music legends like Salif Keita, Femi Kuti, Vieux Farka Toure, and many others.  Beyond the radio station, his popular Radio Africa Online Mixes podcast is featured in Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and elsewhere, generating 40 Terabytes of traffic annually. He is also a columnist for afropop.org, where some of his columns are about Congolese music.
