    Disney Frozen Chicago

by Cheryl on 3/3/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This was a breath taking performance. Our granddaughters 15 and 13 could not stop talking about it. This was like a dream they said. I would go again and see it.

    Fabulous Frozen Cast Members

by SooZQ on 1/30/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Amazing amazing actors and voices in this production! Anna's character was spot on! Watched them on WTTW interviews as well. Very interesting stories of cast. Going single, I had a great seat, center and in upper balcony, however, I wish the parents of all the children getting up and down and moving all the time would have asked them to stay seated or in their laps. Viewing stage was difficult because of that. I always loved the productions Disney puts on and the theater itself if just beautiful. I wish it could have been just a little bit brighter on stage. The changing of Elsa's blue dress on stage was spectacular and LOVED the Oaken number immensely! Reminded me of the tavern scene in Beauty and the Beast! :) VERY ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON!

    Great to be back

by Nar on 1/28/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

It was such a treat to be back in a theater for a Broadway event. The show was magical and my 9yo loved it. I know COVID precautions were strict, which is great, but I still wish we could’ve had concessions. For the price of VIP tickets, the swag was cheap. A special meet and greet or something similar would’ve been a better VIP package perk.

    Not just for kids

by Carol on 1/26/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Our group consisted of 6 adults. We went to a matInee so as we were walking in we saw many children dressed up in their Frozen costumes. We started to wonder if we picked the right musical for adults. We knew immediately once the production started that we were in the right place. Frozen is delightful for all ages. The talent on stage was amazing. Even though we had seen the movie there were still many surprises. I would definitely recommend seeing this.

    The play was outstanding

by Lisa on 1/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The theater itself was way to hot and it was terrible that no one could not even have water.

    Such a great time!

by Ericka on 1/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The show was great! My daughter and her friend loved it - their first Broadway play. The special effects were fantastic! How did you do the dress thing? Sven was great! The actor playing Olaf did an amazing job. All of the actors had amazing voices. It was a joy to be back in the theatre again. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars were the logistics - there weren't lines to get in; it was just a mass of people. I asked both of the official looking people outside what to do, and was pointed at the crowd. I showed my ID and our vaccination info at the outside door, went to the next door, and showed them the email from ticketmaster. My tickets were at will call. We had to go back through the insane crowd, outside again, over to an unmarked door (one of which was locked), get in line there, get our tickets, then go BACK outside and go through the whole thing again. It was very disorganized, and my kid was nearly crushed by the crowd. If Portillo's can handle a crowd, why can't you?

    Frozen weekend with family

by Ginny on 1/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I went to Frozen with my sister on Saturday, January 22 at the Cadillac Theater in Chicago. Was so wonderful. Special effects were absolutely outstanding. Acting was wonderful too. Also, I so enjoyed seeing all the little girls in the audience dressed up as Elsa. They were so cute. I would definitely consider going to another play hopefully this Summer.

    Mixed review

by Frozen Fan on 1/25/22Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Had really high expectations as an avid theater goer and was somewhat underwhelmed. We had a difficult time seeing the production and caught sliver views between heads. We were expecting a lot of special effects (Elsa's magic) given this is a Disney production and was underwhelmed. Sets were interesting, but felt the music was very dark (although very well done). Had hoped for a little lighter experience given it's a kid favorite. We still enjoyed the event, it just wasn't our favorite we've ever seen.
