As Billboard's "Female Entertainer of the Century," Diana Ross holds an unrivaled place among R&B's rich history of legendary divas. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born and raised in Detroit, Ross rose to international superstardom in the '60s as leader of the Supremes, the group that became Motown Records' golden goose with an unprecedented ten No. 1 hits between the years 1964-1967. After fulfilling her contract with the group, Ross released her self-titled solo debut in 1970, earning her first Grammy nomination with soul classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Following the success of her first solo TV special Diana!, Ross once again topped the charts with 1973's "Touch Me in the Morning," going on to release a hugely successful duet album with Marvin Gaye later that year. In addition to her chart success, Ross established herself as a skilled actor with acclaimed appearances in classic '70s films including Mahogany and The Wiz. Over a career that spans more than half a century, Ross has released 27 Top 40 singles, earning a Guinness World Record as the most successful female artist of all time.

Her backup singers and band were great! Here was the problem. Full house. 10 minutes after the start at Foxwoods they turned up the volume. I was seated near an exit. About 50 people got up and left. 30 minutes into the show, the volume was so loud, you could hear the band, the backup singers but Diana Ross' voice was nearly drowned out and indistinguishable. It became so loud the main speakers would "crackle"as she was singing. My son was in the hotel room on the 9th floor with the TV on and could hear the show! I have been to Foxwoods for several shows both comedy and music variety with never an issue. This volume was set high enough for an outdoor stadium. Another venue for her tour may be better than this hopefully one time experience.

by JP on 11/20/23The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National HarborDiana Ross still sounds great and looks amazing. I wanted more of her, however. The show seemed short. 8:20 - 9:50pm I wish MGM in Oxon Hill would use the monitors for concert goers sitting in the back or in the balcony.

At almost 80, Diana Ross says she feels like 47 and performed with that energy and presence. Venue was excellent, free parking, organized entry and good seats just about anywhere.

I was so glad that she did not do a bunch of melodies of her songs. She actually sung each song and her new music is going to be awesome as well. Boss lady still got it. I would recommend fans to go and see her show you will not be disappointed. The band and her background singers were fantastic. Boss Lady keep up the good work period.

Ms. Ross is almost 80 years old and she still sings like she is 47 years old. She looked beautiful! The concert lasted for 2 hours. Ms. Ross surely did give as a great performance.

I couldn't believe how one song would end another would begin. Her voice is in prime shape! Highly recommend. It was so great hearing the old Supremes songs as well her own hits!

We were not disappointed, great seats and the show was awesome. My husband is still talking about the show to his friends. DIANA ROSS, my lady you are still amazing. Great Show!!! As the husband I must say this was the best show I have ever seen…… Diana is still the best out there…..
