Amazing
Love the stadiums intimate feel. Staff is always amazing and the arriving and exiting is smooth sailing. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. Not sure why people feel the need to complain about weather. Soccer is played under most conditions - and this is part of the game. No fault to DC United! Overall - we’re proud to be United fans! Vamos United!

An awesome experience at the Audi Field!
Audi Field - Washington
This was me and my son's first soccer game. Everything turned out perfect. I received reminders and notification ahead of time. I was sent a notification with plenty of ways to retrieve my ticket. I easily downloaded the tickets to my wallet. Entering the stadium was a breeze and providing the ticket using my wallet. We had good seats, the staff was friendly, the food was good, a bit pricey but, none the less it was good. We also found great street parking with a 3 minute walk to the stadium. It was just a wonderful experience and DC United won! We are definately going to more games next year!

Great experience
Audi Field - Washington
Great experience. Club seats definitely worth it. They based the menu on the club friendly so there was food from West Africa. It was delicious and abundant. Thanks so much!

Storm-Ophelia
Audi Field - Washington
I purchased 8 tickets to celebrate our birthday with our children. It rained and stormed all day Saturday September 23rd in the DMV area. Our grandchildren are too young to sit and and be exposed to that kind of wind, rain and cold. We’re all disappointed to have spent all that money but unable to attend. We’d to be able to attend another game with new tickets. Sad to say DISAPPOINTED are the way we are all feeling.

Should have been postponed
Audi Field - Washington
Did not attend due to the wet, windy, and cold weather brought in by Tropical Storm Ophelia. My entire family was hugely disappointed to miss the game, but as a long-planned outing, we knew we would be miserable sitting in the wet.

0-0 tie
Audi Field - Washington
Please score more goals next time. Or let in more goals. TBH I don't have a rooting interest for anything except that we don't have 0-0 ties.

Exciting,fun and amazing
I’m leaving at 5 star review for this event due to how exciting everything was. The game was full of emotions, fans booing at the referees calls, fans getting excited after every goal and many other things. This game was a 10/10 for me and my family. It was a very intriguing game and everyone was so into it. The stadium had a spin the wheel where you could win some prizes, selling merchandise, selling food and drinks and many other things. Very fun if you’re looking forward to it and if you’re looking for a fun time to spend with family and friends.
D.C. United at Audi Field
D.C. United spent the first 22 years of its existence playing in Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. But in 2018, the fan experience soared when United moved into a sleek, soccer-specific stadium called Audi Field, which at the time was the most expensive in MLS history. The sightlines are clean, the food and beverages are curated by beloved D.C. chef José Andrés, and there's plenty to do in the surrounding neighborhood besides park your car.
United's long-standing supporters' groups made the move to Audi Field as well. The buoyant atmosphere of D.C. games was largely thanks to these groups, which include the Screaming Eagles, La Barra Brava, and the District Ultras. Barra and the Ultras bring an international accent to United's fan culture (think South America by way of the Balkans), while the Eagles are known for being the tamer, more family-friendly option.
D.C. United History
The flagship team of a fledgling league, D.C. United dominated the early days of MLS. They appeared in the first four championship games, winning three of them, and added a fourth title in 2004 before the league was even a decade old. They were dominant under the leadership of their first coach, Bruce Arena, who was with United from 1996 until 1998. He won 56 percent of his games in D.C., by far the best mark of any coach in team history.
United has frequently benefited from the midseason arrival of a foreign import. In 1996, there was Bolivian Jaime Moreno. In 2004, there was Argentine Christian Gomez. And in 2018, there was Wayne Rooney, an English star with plenty of wattage left in him.
From the moment he arrived in D.C., Rooney was the heart of United's attack. In stoppage time of a tie game against Orlando, he made a last-ditch tackle with an open net behind him, then served a perfect ball onto the head of midfielder Luciano Acosta, who knocked it in from a few yards out. It was an astonishing sequence — a certain loss swinging to a victory in the span of a few seconds. In large part thanks to Rooney, United's 2018 debut season in Audi Field was a success.
