Saw Davina and the Vagabonds at Jimmy’s Jazz Club in Portsmouth NH. Venue- Beautiful Food - Delicious Drinks - Excellent Entertainment - Fantastic Davina and the Vagabonds have talent, personality and did I mention TALENT! Fabulous evening!
The venue is beautiful. They checked COVID vaccine cards at the door. This did make me feel a bit better because the tables are pretty close together. They sell every seat, so if you don’t want to sit at a table with strangers, definitely look at the seating chart for your tickets. The service was friendly and fast. Food portions were a bit small. This was a great place for a show. The vibe was great and there was parking nearby.
I've got to say this was an amazing night! Jimmy's Jazz Club is a wonderful and classy venue. The staff is friendly and professional, and the food is very good. Davina and the Vagabonds absolutely killed it!!! If you have any appreciation for horns and a soulful jazz singer, this band is a MUST SEE.
This show was very good. Even if it’s music you didn’t grow up with it is definitely worth seeing. They were so talented and funny.
A little less than advertised. As one who lived through the "finest hours" felt they missed the true essence of the music of the era. Did appreciate the musicianship, but felt the staging was lacking. Could have done so much more with it.
A great combination of bands. I loved every minute of this. However, it was not as advertised. I sensed disappointment in the audience. Where were the songs promised? Come on, UA Presents. Get your acts together!
This group delivers ! Davina is amazing, her group is super talented and the energy is definitely contagious. If you have the chance, don’t miss this group - I can’t wait to see them again.
Unforgettable in a small setting. The band was great and Davina was even better. As an added treat the band mixed with the crowd afterwards and we got to met and talk with all of them. They were quite gracious to their fans. The sound was great and they blew out the house.I only wish I stayed for the second show to watch them again.
