Criss Angel Background
A master of magic, illusion and mental feats, Criss Angel is thrilling whether he's performing in a lavish Las Vegas stage spectacular or wowing fans on the sidewalk outside. The streets of Times Square were where viewers got their first impression of Angel's intrepid approach to the formerly staid world of magic. In August 2002, he spent 24 hours shackled inside a cell filled with water in a daring performance that drew massive media exposure and became instantly iconic. The TV appearances and specials that followed culminated in the 2005 premiere of Criss Angel MINDFREAK, the A&E series that showcased his sleight of hand and mentalist abilities, as well as the uniquely edgy sensibility that marked him as magic's boldest new talent.
First presented at the Luxor in 2008, Criss Angel BeLIEve saw the illusionist team with Cirque du Soleil for the world's best-selling live magic show. Named Magician of the Century by the International Magicians Society in 2010, he has also presented his feats and illusions to audiences across the U.S. and internationally in such stage shows as Criss Angel MINDFREAK LIVE! and The Supernaturalists. In late 2018, he reached another career milestone when the Criss Angel Theater opened at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Any magician could have performed the tricks he did. Venue at inn of the Mountain gods was not good either. Really was a waste of time and money. And I usually love criss angel.

by Kat on 2/25/20Wow what an amazing show he put on!! It's been a forever dream of mine to see and meet him in person and finally he came to the rgv and that dream came to! It was a crazy show!! My kids and I loved it!! Criss was so nice to give all his fans a chance to meet him, he stayed for hours after the show finished to make sure he gave everyone a chance to say hello, get an autograph and a pic! That never happens with well known people! They usually charge an arm and a leg to do that and he just did it! It was a dream of mine and I'm so grateful he's the person he is to have let that happen!! Thank you so much Criss Angel and I promise if you ever return to the rgv we will be there again and this time with more family cuz I need everyone I know to see you in person now!!! Great show!!!♥️

by Veteran on 2/24/20Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino - MescaleroMy friends and I were not impressed. Much better in Vegas. Not worth the trouble parking and show starting 30 min late. Front row not worth the cost and everyone standing in back. Mainly hype and very cocky. Town shut down at 10pm on a Sat night. Restaurant at Inn of the Mountain Gods is very expensive.

Had a large person next to me that couldn’t fit in his seat and tried to take up some of mine, no way use your partner’s seat! Will not go the AK Chin for another show until they come up with a better seating arrangement.

When I used to live in Vegas, I was always attending his shows and also fillings for his tv show MindFreak. I have always wanted to see his RAW show, and I finally was able to see it last weekend in Arizona. As always, Criss did a beyond, amazing performance and I loved how silly and funny he was! He has always been one of most favorite Creative Inspirations and he knows that too, from me! Only thing I wish that could’ve changed, was me having better seat, closer to the front of the stage! Thank you for a memorable night, Criss! Love you!
