CNCO in Concert
Renewing the Latin boy-band energy originally forged by Menudo, CNCO (pronounced "cinco") have built their careers off of sheer stage presence. Winners of Univision's ‘La Banda' television singing competition in 2015, they sealed their victory — and a record deal with Sony Music Latin — with the irresistible love plea of "Devuélveme Mi Corazón." Seasoned on some of the world's biggest stages alongside Ricky Martin and Pitbull, the group's Spanish-language vocal numbers range in style from reggaeton to pop to acoustic ballads. These songs — in true boy-band fashion — pair with commanding choreography that brings the stage alive and energizes a rabid fanbase that refers to itself as "CNCOwners." CNCO have become a big venue draw, gracing stages around the world. Recent performance highlights include the Viña Del Mar International Song Festival in Chile, the national anthem at Yankee Stadium, and a part in Univision's New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square. Sold-out shows have become the norm, and balloons and confetti are now falling on the CNCO World Tour.
CNCO Background
The five members of Florida-based CNCO hail from different Latin countries: Christopher (Ecuador), Erick Brian (Cuba), Joel (Mexico), Richard (Dominican Republic), and Zabdiel (Puerto Rico) converge their musical styles within the vibrant confines of Miami. Following their ‘La Banda' victory, the group went on tour with show judge Ricky Martin for his One World tour; Martin also led their initial management efforts. 2016 saw the release of their debut album ‘Primera Cita,' produced by Latin rapper Wisin, and their sophomore self-titled album dropped in 2018; both albums have topped U.S. Latin Billboard charts. CNCO's lead single, "Hey DJ," has achieved multiple Platinum certifications. In 2017, they won the iHeartRadio Music Awards' Best New Latin Artist, numerous accolades at Billboard's Latin Music Awards, and a nomination for a Best New Artist award at the Latin Grammys.
