About

Chris Stapleton was a fixture of the Nashville music scene long before becoming a contemporary torchbearer for outlaw country music. The Kentucky native moved to the Music City in 2001 and served as frontman for The SteelDrivers and The Jompson Brothers while writing songs for Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and more. Stapleton unveiled his debut solo album Traveller in 2015 behind singles like “Nobody to Blame” and his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Tennessee Whiskey.” The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 six months after its release and has since been RIAA-certified platinum six times. In 2017, Stapleton released the two-volume effort From a Room, and his fourth full-length Starting Over followed in 2020. Stapleton has won eight Grammys and received two additional nominations in 2023 for his fifth album, Higher. Aside from working alongside country music heavyweights like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Lee Ann Womack and Morgan Wallen, Stapleton has also shared the mic with pop elites such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, P!NK and Ed Sheeran.

    It was just okay...

by Amanda on 4/14/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The first time we saw Chris Stapleton in 2021 he was excellent.. so much so that we wanted to see him again. The second time around was very boring, he didn't play a lot of the songs we liked from his new album and was very similar to the first show we saw. I appreciate his vocals and know that he's not big on the extra stuff but we were less than impressed the second time around. It's possible the bouncy acoustics at US bank contributed to our experience.

    Poor audio.

Poor audio. Couldn’t understand when performers were talking. Disappointed

    Disappointed

by GeGe on 4/13/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

US Bank Stadium is a poor venue. Could not understand most of the words of the songs, due to poor acoustics.

    Worst acoustics ever!

by Guitarman on 4/13/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The musicians were great. It was impossible to understand anything being said. The acoustics were terrible and will not pay the money to attend another show at US Bank Stadium.

    Saturday Stapleton Sensation

by Snowball23 on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

If you have never seen Chris Stapleton perform- you need to! He is so talented, amazing and creative! This was on my buket list and I have been waiting to see him for years. The venue itself did not have the best sound quality, or enough signage posted outside for which line to enter the stadium. The stage set was awesome. GO see him!!

Chris Stapleton - US Bank Stadium, Mpls. MN

by Howieg on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The music (sound) and experience were mostly good for Marcus King, Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton. The vocals were terrible. You could not understand the words they were singing or even what they were saying between songs for 90% of the concert. It was somewhat better during a slower, softer song without much music. We were in sec. F3, 1st row, right off the floor. From what other reviewers said is a good area for better sound. Definitely not the case. We had friends in Section 119, row 23 and they said the same thing; very hard to make out and understand the words. This was my 1st concert at US Bank and unfortunately, will be my last.

    Use of Jumbotrons

by Crowntown on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The musical acts were fantastic. I just cannot for the life of me understand why they did not use the Jumbotron at each end of US Bank Stadium, so that we could see the performers better.

    It was ok

by Mel on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

We were in the nosebleed section (337). The steps are very steep and seats very uncomfortable and tight. Sound was good but vision not. Screens were partially blocked by lights and aimed more forward than off to the side . There was a big screen that wasn’t used that would have helped a lot. Whoever was in charge of the screens also focused more attention on some band members than others and didn’t really keep up with artists.

    Chris doesn’t disappoint.

by Hammy on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

2 hours of hits. The best in the business. I would go to see him every week if I could. He just can’t be beat. Definitely a bucket list concert, but I’ve seen him 3 times now and will probably go again.

Chris couldn't have been any better!

by bug on 4/11/24U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

I would have loved to have had Chris the WHOLE show! The two backups were not so good. Lainey Wilson just screamed and we couldn't understand her. It was not fun to wait through the first two. However, CHRIS STAPLETON was AMAZING!! Thank you for bringing him to Minnesota!!!!!
