Cherie Currie Tickets

Great great great show...very personable with the audience and since she played at a small venue she met with the audience and posed for pics and signed autographs.,.even brought my teenaged daughter who was estatic at meeting Cherie!!!

I was so excited that Cherie was going to finally tour again and starting in NYC at the grammercy theater. The evening seemed to be a slow starter, doors at 7, but very few people. I thought, this can't be right! But eventually all filled up, and I was relieved for Cherie's first night of her tour! Opening acts were ok, they seemed a bit scattered, due to short sets, but I was happy about that. Cherie's band took the stage and the audience was Excited, I was Too. A Runaways fan since Joan Jett's solo stardom. But I Always preferred Cherie's voice on my favorite Runaway's songs. Cherie's band were young and Tight, and ready to back her up. Including her drummer, who later was revealed to be her own Son: Jake Hayes! He was so into it and was a fantastic drummer!! The band seemed genuinely thrilled to be playing those great songs! Her honest, between song banter and dedications were very nice ways to introduce classic songs and showcase new ones! Her voice was a Strong and full. I always thought she was an amazingly strong singer, certainly from being untrained. Especially at 16 years old!! Hope her tour is a success and we see her again & again! No encore, but it was a wonderful way to start her tour!

Last night in O.C. at a sweet little place called the Tiki Bar, the always awesome Cherie Currie , best known for her daze frontin' the Runaways, brought it all to the stage with a brand new band that played hard, fast, tight & right to let Cherie do what shes does with such style of her own sweet personage that she sparks a universal spirit of shared consciousness that is pure rock & roll. Cherie might have been a Queen of Noise durin' her glorious adolescence with the legendary Runaways, but with her endless growth thru life experience & her positive attitude, she has become a true Goddess of Rock & Roll. Look for more to come from Cherie as there's to be new music released & hopefully more tour. I will buy it all & attend as many shows as I can, because as Cherie's friend Joan Jett says, I Love Rock & Roll & I Love the Rock & Roll of Cherie Currie.

Cherie Currie & her band were fantastic , Cherie never sounded so good , her eneregy & passion came through strong as ever She is still the Queen !!!!
