Cher in Concert
Often referred to as the "Goddess of Pop' Cher is more than just a singer. She is also a Grammy Award, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actress and artist. The talented singer began her musical career at the tender age of sixteen and went on to form the duo "Sonny and Cher" with Sonny Bono. In 1965, Cher released her debut solo album "All I Really Want to Do" and in 1966 she had her first live performance with Sonny Bono at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In total, Cher has released an impressive twenty-five studio albums, three live albums and nine compilation albums since her start in the 60s. The talented singer-actress has completed six worldwide tours throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Her first solo concert tour, T ake Me Home Tour, debuted in 1979, and her last concert tour, Living Proof: The Farewell Tour, lasted from June 2002 until April 2005. In 2017, Cher headed to Vegas with the show Classic Cher, set within the expansive Park Theater's 5,200-seat Monte Carlo venue. Fans of Cher live and in concert note that her performances are filled with equal parts high-energy "Believe" moments and emotionally-charged romantic ballads along with multiple set and costume changes for an all-around impressive experience. Aside from her musical career, Cher has built an impressive career for herself as an actress, starring in the award-winning films Moonstruck and Silkwood. In 1988, she won the "Best Actress in a Leading Role" Academy Award for the film "Moonstruck" as well as the Golden Globe award.
Cher Background
Born in El Centro, California, to an actress mother, Cher began her career at the age of 16 when she decided to move to Los Angeles with her best friend. She enrolled herself in acting classes and worked as a dancer to earn a living while getting her start. Cher's life changed in 1962 when she met fellow singer Sonny Bono, not only because he would go on to be her performing partner and future husband, but because he introduced her to producer Phil Spector. Spector gave Cher her first job as a backup singer and also produced her debut single "Ringo, I Love You."Stay updated on Cher's personal life as well as tour dates and individual tickets by following her on Instagram or subscribing to her newsletter.
Cher on Tour
Following the completion of 82 shows by the end of this year, the Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe, Billboard Icon Award recipient and Kennedy Center Honoree shows no signs of slowing down. The Here We Go Again Tour began September 2018 in conjunction with the release of her Warner Bros. "Dancing Queen" album which landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Charts. Cher recently performed in Europe for the first time in 15 years and received many standing ovations nightly, several five star reviews along with the unanimous raves for her previous U.S. Tour dates.
Due to overwhelming demand, Cher extended her phenomenally successful Here We Go Again Tour, announcing additional dates in 2020. Nile Rodgers & CHIC continue as the special guest for the North American outing.

This was the 4th time I have been to see Cher in concert! She always delivers a fabulous show. She gets better with age.
Best concert ever! Cher & the whole production was just WOW!
It couldn’t have went better, I brought my mom with me and we both loved every minute of it!!
This makes the 4th Cher concert I've attended in the past year. I think I'm making up for all of the years I didn't make it to her shows and hope I can go to another. Of course I would love to see her sing some of her other classic songs as well as some of her newer ABBA releases-but if she comes out and sings the alphabet it's gonna be great! One more thing that makes her concerts that much better is that my 18 year old daughter has as much fun as I do!!
While Cher is still a beautiful woman with a strong voice, i felt like she spent more time off stage (changing clothes and resting maybe?) than she did performing. If it takes her that long just to do a costume change then those changes should be greatly reduced so she can perform more. I do tip my hat to her performance at 73 years of age. Also the sound could have been better.
Roger Mosley and Chic opened with a unforgettable review of there past hits. Cher followed up with a performance to remember always.
Cher is still at the top of her game. Like the fact that her show starts on time and is exciting from beginning to end.. Hats off to Nile Rogers & Chic for a great performance.
Went with some friends as it was one of her bucket list concerts, not one I'd have bothered to go see, but SO glad I went! So very entertaining!!!
WHAT AN ICON. Cher is a goddess. Her voice is insane. It was like being at a Vegas show. I loved every minute of it. 10/10 everyone should see Cher.
Cher has been in my life since I was a small child. I grew up with the Sonny and Cher Show, The Cher Show, Cher's music on the radio, in the clubs; her face in the movies. I decided when she came to Bossier City this time, I would be there. I went alone though I had many, many friends in attendance. I treated myself to a front row ticket. Cher was amazing just as I thought she would be. Her energy, wit, charm, and talent were all there 10 feet from me. It was an fantastic show with all the trimmings and I will be forever glad I went.
It was an amazing concert!! She was awesome!!!! So glad to have that experience!!!
I loved the burlesque part. My sister an I would watch that over and over again in one day until we knew ever single word to the movies and the songs. I used to listen to my moms cd of Cher and it was amazing to hear those songs sung my her.
It’s a must see. Cher does not disappoint. Stage scenes, lights, sound and of course Cher. She leaves you wanting more!!!! Truly best show ever.
The first act was ok, but to my wife and me nothing to brag about. Cher on the other hand was worth the wait and really enjoyed the 1.5 hour show. She was entertaining and belies her age while on stage. Was surprised at the tribute to Sonny - but yet seemed fitting.
Cher really put on an awesome show. It is hard to believe that she is 73!
This was absolutely one of the best concerts ever...Cher was awesome and had a awesome stage show !!!!!
The show was amazing. No doubt the best concert I’ve ever seen. The only complaint I have is the seats were so close together you were pressed up against the people on your side. We were in section one.
As always, Cher was PHENOMENAL! Her show is always electric ... from the amazing stage displays/backdrops/videos, the incredible dancers, the magnificent musicians to the one and only CHER herself! She never disappoints!! Ladedadeda...ladedadede
Cher did not disappoint. The show was awesome. She is a true superstar.
