    Great summer event!

    by Speckledchicken on 8/22/23

I thought the artists were great and really enjoyed this event! I especially liked Christian Kuria’s set. The space was pretty clean, including the port-a-potties, but it would be nice if the food options were less greasy. Also I’d like the event actually recycled any bottles/cans, since I saw the staff throw recycling bag into trash bag at the end of the evening instead

    A Favorite Artist

    by daveadad on 8/22/23

Cautious Clay is one of my favorite current artists, and he did nothing to dispel that in Central Park at Summerstage. Not only was his music great, but he shared is kindness, authenticity, and soul with us by lining up opening acts that really built the right vibe, and then inviting his first flute teacher onto the stage for a flute duet. A genuine, wonderful musician and human.

    Captivating.

    by Samurai_Black on 8/22/23

From start to finish this was a master class in live performances. Cautious’s Smooth Melodie’s and assortment of enchanting instruments. From Guitar , Bass , Flutes, Saxophones, drums and more. His ability to hold a note and switch from Singing to performing on an instrument. The songs were relatable and understandable. The accompanying band was also a pleasure. Jamming out professionally, with many opportunity's for stand out solos within tracks. Cautious had the crowd so engaged after standing outside for hours already, At the end of his Performance calls for “encore, encore, encore” could be heard spreading like wildfire throughout the crowd. He Confidently and proudly returned to stage where he performed a standout track on his new album Karpeh , (Another Half) a master at his craft he ended the night on a high note indeed! 10/10 would recommend going to a Performance if you manage to catch one happening near you.

    Venue need improvement

by Sandy on 7/20/22The Loft - Oak Bluffs

He was excellent singer but acoustic bad and venue had no air inside. The show started late . The entertainment prior to him needs to work on his presentation

Great live show, amazing sax and flute playing

by Louisa on 7/20/22The Loft - Oak Bluffs

Cautious Clay and his band were excellent. They played a fun mix of his songs, some soul ballad style and some verging on funk punk. The saxophone and flute solos were on fire! The only downside was a slightly muddy vocal mix that made it hard to catch all the lyrics.

Excellent show! Cautious Clay is such a talented artist.

by AmyB on 3/25/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Excellent show! Cautious Clay is such a talented artist. His ability to write songs with such depth but yet raw/direct emotion is beautiful. If you only know him via Wildflower, do yourself a favor and dive deeper into his art. Did I mention he played like 5 instruments?! So talented. The 930 Club in DC was a fun and up close to artist experience.

    Awesome!

by Kat on 2/21/22House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Really excited to see Cautious Clay in person and the House of Blues Chicago venue felt intimate yet lively! Plus I upgraded my ticket to the VIP bar seats near the pit and could enjoy the show even more!
