Carrie Underwood is an American country singer, songwriter and actress who launched her stellar singing career with the fourth season win of FOX network's reality show American Idol. Carrie Marie Underwood was born in 1983 into an idyllic childhood spent playing outdoors on the family farm, listening to country music, singing at her church and performing at local events such as Old Settler's Day in Checotah. After high school, she majored in broadcast journalism at Northeastern State University in her home state of Oklahoma. It was during her senior year that she auditioned for American Idol, a move that would propel her toward her dream of becoming a professional singer. Her debut album Some Hearts shot to multi-platinum, and her powerful and evocative 2006 ACM award-winning single, "Jesus Take the Wheel," garnered her international acclaim and sealed her fate as one of country music's brightest superstars. From her first single "Inside Your Heaven" to her multiple awards and accolades since. Carrie has become an indelible fixture in modern country music.

Really, really happy we were able to attend her concert, even though a bit disappointed we missed the opening act because of the traffic trying to get into the casino, but Carrie put on one hell of a show!! It was worth the 3 hour drive to get there. Thanks for the memories! đ

by Stef S. on 7/24/23Carrie sounded just as good LIVE as she does recorded-if not better! What a powerhouse. The venue (Treasure Island Casino-Welch, MN) left much to be desired. Needed to be id'd and run my card for each drink purchase. The computers kept "going down". We should have been given a wrist band upon the first drink purchase and been able to buy drink "tickets"of some sort to minimize the number of charges. And the parking areas upon exiting was AWFUL! I got flipped off and called names, just trying to get out. We sat there for nearly two hours, followed by a 3-hour drive home. I would go see Carrie again, hands down, but I won't attend another event of that size at that venue!

by Catycole on 7/24/23Hard to see anything, sound wasnât great. We have seen her before and it was awesome and this performance really lacked the energy and excitement. I would not go back to Treasure Island either the parking was a nightmare and the venue was a dump with long lines.

She included the crowd, waved to so many fans individually, and sounded amazing (especially considering it was her second show of the day!). Carrie is an amazing entertainer and we definitely feel like we got all of the bang + more for our buck. We will definitely go see her again. Her energy and passion for performing coupled with her charming, sweet beauty is top notch. This was a 25 star plus show!!
