About

After three decades, well over 24 million records sold, a GRAMMY Award nomination, 1 billion streams, and a procession of #1 hits, BUSH stand tall as rock outliers whose imprint only widens as the years pass. Turn on rock radio, and it won't be long before you hear "Glycerine" or "Machinehead." On the big screen, their music courses through blockbuster franchises such as John Wick. On the road, they regularly pack amphitheaters and ignite festival stages. In 1994, the group delivered their seminal debut, Sixteen Stone. It notably achieved a six-times platinum certification, remaining a pillar of modern rock. Rolling Stone cited it among "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year," while Stereogum exclaimed, "It feels like music untethered from time, separate from its history." The triple-platinum follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and boasted "Swallowed," which garnered a GRAMMY Award nomination in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance." Their catalog spans the platinum The Science of Things [1999] through The Kingdom [2020], which arrived to acclaim highlighted by "Flowers On A Grave" and "Bullet Holes." As indefatigable as ever, the band released its ninth full-length offering, The Art of Survival [BMG] in late 2022. Thus far, they have notched 25 straight Top 40 hits on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, earning six #1 entries. This Fall, the band is releasing their first ever career retrospective, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023.

    Long time coming

by tjscott on 11/22/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

I had been a fan of Bush since I first heard Everything Zen as a buzz bin hit on mtv. I was in the fanculb and listened to sixteen stone a million times and razorblade suitcase about half that. Seeing them 25 years later did not disappoint. The band was amazing, they sounded just like they did all those years ago. Great setlist, even got to hear Letting the Cables Sleep. Awesome show.

    Amazing

by Jennish on 11/22/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

First of all, I had no indication that the front row seats I bought were VIP, what a surprise I got two days before the show getting an email detailing my VIP experience. Enter panic, as I have loved Bush/Gavin Rossdale since I was a 13 year old in the 90s. HE WAS SO NICE!! When he said how much he liked the outfit I wore, I nearly melted. The show was also amazing but getting to meet Gavin was a highlight of my life.

    BUSH always a class act!

by Leighann on 11/22/23Hershey Theatre - Hershey

This was my first time to Hershey Theater and actually first time seeing BUSH in a theatre-type venue. I LOVED IT! The sound and lighting were top notch as always and the band puts on an incredible show every time I see them! Their openers good too!! Eva Under Fire was stellar and gave 110% and it was so nice meeting the lead singer out in the lobby. Beautiful voice, kind human. I'd watch a whole show of theirs. Band Wolves were actually kinda disappointing. I have never really said that about a live band before. I work with bands, and I am all over the country at different venues. So I am pretty used to different musicians and set ups. I have never had a band ask for the spots to be turned off "So they could see the audience". That's not how that works. You keep the spots on, so we can see the band, and bring the house lights up, so they can see the audience. This was at the start of the 1st number, and the spots were never asked to be brought back on, which had all of us watching absolutely nothing on the stage. I was in the 3rd row, center and all my shots and vid are just shadows of people. Had I wanted to listen to them in the dark, I would have saved my money and streamed the music. The band (musicians) sounded great, but the lack of SEEING the band was seriously not a fun experience. And many in the crowd were fans of the band, and were not thrilled with that as well. For my money, I would have loved to see a longer set from Eva Under Fire and nixed Bad Wolves (since they took away our ability to enjoy them anyway.) BUSH is worth the ticket. They made the whole night worth it, and I had something to buzz about the whole long drive to Oshawa, Ontario the next morning to load in my own show Sunday night. BUSH = 10/10

The evening was amazing from start to finish. Did the VIP before the show and the band is so friendly and welcoming. The show itself was fantastic! They sounded great and the venue was spectacular.

    Awesome show!

by Jackie O on 11/22/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

This was an amazing show! Good mix of old and new songs. Gavin was the best front man I’ve seen in a long time (and we saw GnR and RHCP this year). He spent the encore singing non the nosebleed seats with the fans. Amazing show!

    Lines

by ThomasJ on 11/21/23Hershey Theatre - Hershey

Hershey Theatre was beautiful and a great place to see a concert; BUT the 2 lines to get beer, soda or snacks was sooooooo long that we basically missed the first two bands! They need to figure out a better process and produce additional lines! Would I go there again; yes, but would understand that I won’t be seeing any opening bands. Also wish they had a place not in the sitting area to drink and not having to pay for a souvenir Drinky Cup!

    Galloping Gavin

    by Andsoitwas77 on 11/21/23Hershey Theatre - Hershey

We’ve attended half dozen BUSH concerts in different venues and this on had pros and cons. PROS: the Hershey Theatre, the small venue, more intimate and our seats three rows away from the stage (WOW), Gavin meandered through the rows among audience and then even made his way up to BALCONY, like a magician act! Cons: the opening bands weren’t on pre concert announcement and they were SOOOOOO loud and BASS overwhelmed the singers, The venue told us there were two intermissions with concessions stands OPEN UNTIL THE END OF CONCERT, NOT.

A nice blast from the past

by chad kauffman on 11/21/23Hershey Theatre - Hershey

I have seen them a few times before in the 90's and maybe 1 time after. My 13 year old son has been enjoying some of their tunes when they come on sat. radio, so since they were close, we decided to get tix. I was happy to see the 2 opening bands who I knew as well. Eva Under Fire was fantastic, the more I see of them on youtube, the more I like them. I only knew Bad Wolves from the Zombie cover and they did a great job as well. Gavin and the boys came on and did a great job and were full of energy. I didn't know all of their newer stuff but liked a few new ones. We enjoyed seeing Gavin come thru the row in front of us up in the balcony. They still got it and enjoy it as you can tell.

    everything…not ZEN

    by justarockfan on 11/20/23

For a band that’s been as long as bush as, you would have thought they would have played for more 90mins, especially since during one of the songs Gavin’s guitar tech, came out, even though Gavin was waving him off… Still had good energy, and the light show was decent..kinda miss the fire piles though (since it was at a venue that has them) Overall, not bad…been to better concerts; been to worst ones as well
