About Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest
The National Football League and pop music have had an unlikely but successful relationship since the Super Bowl halftime show in 1991 when the yearâs hottest boy band, the New Kids on the Block, brought the house down at Tampa Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Throughout the years, this short but sweet halftime gig has only gotten bigger, brighter and more spectacular with performers including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, U2, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Madonna, Bruno Mars, BeyoncĂŠ, Lady Gaga and more. In 2019, the NFL upped the ante even further with the inaugural Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest, a three-day extravaganza that just nearly overshadowed one of the biggest sporting events in the world. With over 41,000 fans in attendance at Atlantaâs State Farm Arena â and nearly 5 million streaming the performances on Twitter â the fest featured top talents including Super Bowl halftime show alumni Bruno Mars and Aerosmith, as well as Cardi B., Post Malone, and hometown hip-hop heroes Ludacris, Ciara, Migos, T.I., Lil Jon, Lil Yachty and Young Jeezy. In 2020, the second Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest goes down in sunny Miami, Florida, from Thursday, January 30, to Saturday, February 1, leading up to Super Bowl LIV. On Thursday, DJ Khaled, DaBaby and a few special guests kick off the festivities with their EA SPORTS BOWL Welcome to Miami Showcase at the AmericanAirlines Arena, the palm-treeâlined venue located along the picturesque Biscayne Bay. Friday sees hard rock icons Guns Nâ Roses taking over the stage with original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagen busting out some of their greatest hits. The festivalâs Saturday finale features the previous yearâs Super Bowl halftime show headliners Maroon 5 along with a special guest. The three-day event also features surprise celebrity and athlete appearances. If the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest gets any greater, it could threaten to overshadow the main event itself.
Awesome venue, awesome experience, good atmosphere, well organized.
I have to say being here made that particular Saturday the best of my life to date. Getting to see Imagine Dragons perform live in person was always something I wanted to cross off my bucket list. Kane Brown and Nightly were also very enjoyable to watch and listen to. Overall, thrilled to have been a part of the crowd đ.
Itwas too delayed, music quality for Dr poor and 2d band so LOUD had to leave to get away from it.imagine Dragons were great but really late show.
We had great side view seats and of course DMB is always a favorite of mine! Great visuals and great overall experience đ. Fun way to celebrate the Superbowl in AZ
Great easy to manage venue. Easy getting in and easy getting out. Literal is a perfect offering to get in and out at no cost. Restaurants and other things close by. Security was amazing and all was well organized. They did as good of a job as they could. The pricing on drinks is getting a bit out of control and the food choices available at the venue was not adequate. Need way better choices and a bit more variety of food. There five hours and had to purchase chicken tenders which are fried and not that great. Having a taco truck with grilled fish tacos or something decent would have been nice. Only complaint was arena food. Concerts were great. DMB should have stayed on longer as Imagine dragons started late but played until midnight which was cool
With tickets that say 7pm, I expected the opener, Kane Brown, to start around 745pm and the main act, Imagine Dragons, to start no later than 9pm. For the show to be so delayed, that Imagine Dragons did not come on stage until 1025pm is ridiculous. I had to leave at 1145pm to take light rail home - and missed the rest of the concert. Very disappointed.
Imagine Dragons were wonderful and we absolutely loved everything about their performance but quite frankly, the wait to get to hear them was excruciating. Too long breaks between bands and two opening shows was way too much. Kane Brown was WAY too long!!!! I was with my 10 year old who is an absolute fan of imagine dragons and by the time they came on stage, she was already exhausted, cranky and what was meant to be a memorable first live show ended up being a sour memory because of the 4 hours we had to go through before seeing the artists we came for. Imagine Dragons were absolutely fantastic, the venue was perfect, the process with ticketmaster was very smooth and easy and thank you so much for offering to reserve parking in advance!!!!!! That was such a great move!!
2 different big names and genres was perfect. Both had great music both put on great shows! First major concert. Going to be tough to beat!
I loved Imagine Dragons! They were the highlight of the show. The only drawback was the late start. I'm not sure why we were told to be there by 7 when the concert didn't even start until 7:45pm
Loved the concert. The bummer was the super long wait for it to start. Also the long waits in between acts .
