I expected more bang for the buck

by Old New Nurse on 5/18/23

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a legend, and at 72 it's amazing how much energy he has. His lyrics are a work of art. But--I expected more entertainment for the amount of money you pay for one ticket. I was actually more impressed listening to the brass section of the E Street Band. Those guys are extremely talented!

    Great Show, Expensive Tickets, Belmont

    by d. w. on 5/7/23

I saw Bruce twice on Broadway. Sat in front row. Nothing can compare to that. Pre-COVID stood next to him for thirty minutes while he signed albums. A serious major talent. Took my family to see him at Belmont. Fabulous show and he sure gave us our moneys worth. He played for almost three hours. The E Street Band is merely a back up band. He IS the show. Nobody watches them. Ticket prices were outrageous and he blamed it on Ticketmaster but the artist makes all the decisions about prices. He’s no longer the working man’s friend when a ticket costs as much as a mortgage payment. But hey, great show. Free Advice: if you go to his show buy tickets in the Pit. Tickets cheaper and thats the show is!!!! ( Four stars only for cost. Show gets Five Stars! )

    Last hoorah?

    by R. G. on 4/11/23

As a long time fan that has seen 84 shows since 1975, go to see him and the band if you can. Although the price of admission is now 10X of yesteryear, once they come out to perform you get 120% as usual. See the Boss, your daughter’s wedding budget will just have to take a big hit.

    Bruce 👍

    by Hobot99 on 4/3/23

We gave our friends tickets for Bruce. They were delighted and talked all evening about how they had a great time! In 3 days, my wife and I are going to NY and decided to go to his concert ourselves! I think everything will be at the highest level!

There is not a better Boss!

    by Kelly Islucky on 3/8/23

I have been so very fortunate to have enjoyed so many Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band shows over 40 years. How do they keep getting better? There has never been a better CONCERT experience. My excitement starts the minute I get my hands on a ticket, my feet seem lighter when I am walking into the arena, the electricity in the air is fully charged, but when the first note is played. It's pure adrenaline, pilsing through your heart and taking you to a place that is as close as perfect...The band gives everything...they leave nothing back......it is new everytime..and I would go yo every show if possible.. LOVE !!!!!

A religious revival… with a concert thrown in

    by C. W. on 3/5/23

Wow, my first Springsteen show and it was amazing. Won’t be my last; mind was blown. Had great floor seats but next time, I need to figure out how to get in the famous Pit.

    The Boss being THE BOSS

    by j. A. on 2/25/23

Hard to Complain after 2:45 straight. But his 2 Covid albums helped getting me through the Pandemic. I would have loved hearing a few more of those. Not 1 from Western Stars which I found BRILLIANT. This more of a Greatest Hits Tour.

Barclays Center Tour April 2023 !!

    by C. B. on 7/30/22

After 16 attempts I finally got lucky and scored a tix to Barclays Center show. MSG tixs only allowed verified fan presale & genrl too expensive. Barclays opened tixs for everyone at the same time. Was too young & broke in the 80s to see my dream show tour "Born in the USA" and was in my 20s & broke in 2000s for the "Rising Tour". I am beyond excited to see "The Boss" in April. Now in my mid 40s I have an even more deeper appreciation for his music, storytelling and musicianship. As a single mom living in NYC the best tixs of course was too rich for my blood, but if I could afford it, I may have paid it. There is dynamic pricing & people buying buckets of tixs to double price and resell, but there was also tixs for $200+ in upper level seats (ie: 200s/300s section). You just had to be quick on the draw or lucky as hell to get them. I know alot of artists who charge alot of money, some more than Springsteen and I decided not to buy them. However, some artists particularly legends, they are worth the money. If i couldn't get a $300 or less tix to this show I wouldn't have been able to afford it. I'm really happy I did. The music gods smiled on me. 🤗🎶🎸🎤‼🤗

    What a shame

    by t. h. on 7/28/22

Lots of ppl love the boss but as usual they make it where the tickets get bought up then resold for double or triple the price I seen him free back in the early 2000’s on campus with John Carey when he was running for president only played a few songs but got to see him until the public refuse to pay these prices for concerts then this will continue which ppl that have the money to do this always will

    Total rip-off

    by J. B. on 7/27/22

I signed up for the presale, hoping to get some reasonable tickets. Unfortunately, the bots apparently beat me to it. All that are left are $400 and MUCH higher. Thankfully I have seen him before as I would never pay that kind of money to sit in the nosebleed seats. Ticketmaster needs to remove the resale option, is that seems to be the big driver for this.

    Not worth a mortgage payment

    by MichelleS on 7/27/22

I've seen him. GREAT shows. Over $500 / ticket. Forget that. He's RICH. I'm not. I have bills to pay.

    Disappointed

    by L. S. on 7/26/22

I didn't want to believe the stories of not being able to get tickets at face value until I went on my assigned time with my access code. The ones that showed face value were sold as soon as you clicked on it and the screen would refresh with ridiculously high priced seats. Sorry but my family cannot afford to spend $10K for four of us to go see the boss. I'm a fan since I was 17 and I'm 58 now. Never missed a tour. Have had to pay scalper prices in the past but they are a bargain in comparison. I was so happy to hear Bruce was trying to get tickets into fans hands but at what cost. I think he forgot his blue color life.
