Fun Time
by LeoN on 11/29/23Total Mortgage Arena - BridgeportThis is a cute arena. I go to about 2-3 games a year. It is professional hockey but without the huge crowds. Every seat is a good seat. If you like hockey, it is a fun place to be.

Great game Great hockey Staff amazing A must go see
The tricky bit about a sports event is the competitiveness of the team. I bought the ticket before they dropped a steamy one in Hartford (and were still in play-off contention). The results at home against Scranton were brutal. The team was an absolute no-show and were throttled, humiliated, and discarded from the playoffs with prejudice. The arena was also empty (no juice) and the facilities are in desperate need on some updates (the club should sue the city of Bridgeport for breach of contract or move to Nassau). The tough bit is that with inflation soaring discretionary spending like this is on the block. The pathetic nature of this club, coupled with the poor attitude of the players, mangers/coaches/owners make this a lousy value.
This review is low because of the obstruction to our view of the ice. We typically look for cheaper seats and sit in the back, but this time we paid extra to sit in the first few rows right next to where the Bridgeport Islanders come out. They brought out their retractable tunnel so the players could get to the ice safely. As they came out, it was clear that the tunnel obstructed the view of the entire goal area. I asked the usher it they would retract the tunnel (seemed easy enough) and he said no. My son and I exchanged seats so he could see, but we were disappointed with the view. The ushers were helpful and tried to rectify the situation by telling us we could move back to any seat we wanted because all the other box seats were occupied. While this solution was nice to offer, we would be moving back to seats that were cheaper. It would have been nice for a solution that honored the expense. We are loyal to the arena and will be back. It is great hockey, just a bummer that more couldn’t be done.
Seats were affordable for the whole family to come
Great seats I got for the hockey game!!!!!! My family and I had a GREAT time
We took the ferry from Port Jefferson to Bridgeport and took a 5 minute walk to the Arena. Great to see these young players play hard to get to the NHL! A nice intimate setting, every seat is a good one!
Great hockey game, intimate experience, good arena set-up.
We had a fantastic time at the game! The venue is great, parking is close and convenient, and they have great food and beverages. The staff is friendly and helpful too! And of course the team is really fun to watch! Live the music played and the videos shown. We’re going back soon!
The food was really really expensive! Other than that the experience wasn’t bad at all
Took my son out to the Bridgeport Islanders game- can’t recommend it enough. Arena has great food, beer, and vibes. My son and I loved it!
Real good hockey in a more intimate setting. Future Hockey stars!
Not a fan of wearing a mask after I have been vaccinated and had a booster . It’s unnecessary . However I love attending games in Bridgeport , my son and I missed it tremendously during the last year . Very excited to be able to attend games again .
Girlfriend and I got glass tickets behind the net for the game to see what its like sitting there. Fair price for them. Arena was great! Food was good and well priced and didnt seem like there was a bad seat in the place. Very easy to get to the arena, right off of 95. Parking right next door was nice and easy as well. Def want to come back for another game
Got to watch an awesome game for a great price! I usually sit in the nosebleeds, but I figured I’d check into closer seats. I spent just over $100 for 3 tickets, got to sit right next to the glass, and the game ended in a shoot out!
i took my girlfriend and her 3 year old son to his first hockey game.... he loved it! we sat right on the glass on Star Wars Night! Such a great experience for us all!
Went nov 3rd game kind of boring not many In attendence left after 2nd period score was Tied. They won in period 3.
Great place, great event but ... A lot of people (not kids) was walking back and forth between the rows whole game long . About 10 times we ask them to move or to sit down not to block our view . I've never seen that nowhere else .
Wow, what an experience to do something different and it’s not far. It’s not too expensive for a ticket and it’s a night out with local breweries sprinkled around their arena. We will definitely come back and watch another game!
What a wonderful resource to have in Bridgeport. The Sound Tigers games are fun, inexpensive and convenient. Parking is 10 dollars and street parking is easy to find if you don't mind a short walk. Can't wait to see the Sound Tigers again next season.
