Bob Seger in Concert
With one of the most recognizable voices in rock, Bob Seger has been laying down cool grooves and bluesy anthems since the 1960s. Born in Detroit in 1945 to a relatively absent musician father who worked for Ford, Seger grew up with the perfect cocktail for heartland rock: a mix of music, working-class values, and despair. Becoming entranced by the music of early crooners like Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and James Brown, Seger would start a Detroit-based rock band in ‘61 called The Decibels; after they broke up, he joined The Town Criers, who became popular for their covers of radio-friendly pop tunes. In ‘74, Seger formed The Silver Bullet Band, where he would find immense success. 1976's ‘"Live" Bullet' reached No. 34 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, going Platinum the following year. Later in ‘76, Seger's LP ‘Night Moves' would send atomic waves across the country with charting singles like "Night Moves," "Mainstreet," and "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"; the album eventually went 6x Platinum. With his following album, the explosive and searing ‘Stranger in Town,' he had four charting singles and another 6x Platinum LP.
Over the next 30 years, Seger would rack up the accolades he deserved while continuing to put out great rock albums. Though musicians came and went in his band lineup, Seger remained a stable anchor. 1986 saw a No. 2 charting track with "American Storm," and the following year he found his first No. 1 single in "Shakedown," which he wrote for ‘Beverly Hills Cop II.' In 1987, Seger and The Silver Bullet Band also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Recent years have proved that Seger's here to stay: 2014's ‘Ride Out' was full of twangy, wheeling-and-dealing heartland rock, while 2017's ‘I Knew You When' bore a healthy dose of classic Bob Seger sentimentality.

Bob Seger played in Fort Wayne, IN. To a sell out crowd . He and his band were simply outstanding. We want to hear him again in the MidWest Is it possible?
I want to see Bob Seger in concert. I hear he puts on a great concert.
I want to see Bob Seger is he playing any anywhere in Texas
Saw you in Tacoma Washington a little while back and you and your music is more beautiful than ever..if that’s possible ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely the best concert I have ever been to. Bob and the Silver Bullet band went above and beyond what I expected. It was the best birthday gift and birthday I have ever had! They were awesome! Bob is the man! An adventure I will never forget!
Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band rocked the Fabulous Forum. All the truly great hits were played with 100% heart and inspiration. These great performers went all out in making this concert-goer's experience truly fantastic. I don't think Bob left the stage for more than a minimal break - great energy throughout the concert. Too bad it was the last concert on the tour (and his last tour). Thanks for checking one of the items off my bucket list.
I’m 62 and have been to lots of concerts in my life. This was by far the best show. He still has “it” ! I want to go see him again. I hope he returns.
This is as good as it gets for a show - sound was flawless - songs timeless - everything Bob sings is pricless
Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band has been a great part of rock and roll for many years, and I respect them for bowing out gracefully because plenty of these people become shadows of their former selves before retirement. This was a good show and we’re glad we went, but Shoreline is not the best place to be if you don’t have reserved seats.
If you missed it I'm sorry, because apparently there won't be another chance to catch him live. Bob Seger was awesome and well worth the money.
Great showmanship, talent and songchoice! He performed all of his hits and was still enthusiastic as ever. Enjoy
Played all the hits, sounds just as good as many years ago. Sax player was superb, really a great show, a shame that he is retiring and last tour.
Bob had a great show!! I thought he was awesome. First time i saw him live and he sounded great. 3 encores!! He never missed a beat. Wish i had gotten to see him years ago!!
Bob's voice and performance was great! It was just as I expected. If this wasn't his last tour I would see him again in a heartbeat!
So in awe of how good Bob's voice is after so many years. Great show and loved watching how much the fans were into the show. Terrific show!!
I first saw Bob Seger over 40 years ago and I was so thrilled to see him again. He is still an amazing performer, love his music, it’s timeless and classic!
Almost 40 years since the first time I had the chance to see Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band in concert, it was like going back in time! Other than a lot of Grey Hair both on and off the stage, the sound was just as great as it was in the late 70's. It's almost a shame that this is his last tour; but a lot can be said about an aging rocker knowing when its time to say farewell. He still sounded every bit as clear, crisp and on key; and we all got our chance to say thank you for all the incredible music he's provided us over the past half decade! Thanks Bob for contributing so wonderfully to the Sound Track of our lives!
Madison Square Garden is by far one of the most beautiful venues in the U.S. Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band is by far the most talented, appreciative and down to earth bands that exists in the U.S. Put those two together and one will immensely enjoy the greatest concert experience there is out there.
Bob Seger was terrific as always There were available seats on the “bridge” which we were not allowed to use so some great seats went to waste Food and drink was hard to get to from our location Food and drink were too expensive when we did find some Price of tickets plus price of food plus the cost of getting to MSG makes it difficult to attend a show
