When the matches are 3-0 and the outcome has been decided something has to be done to maintain excitement and interest. Maybe intersperse doubles earlier so the singles outcome is not determined so early.
Great tennis! While I was glad the USA won, did they have to do it three straight matches?! Would have liked to have seem more great matches! It was great seeing Jessica P and Coco G play up close and personal!
What a great time getting to watch USA’s great women tennis players and getting to see Billie Jean King. The venue was nice, concessions good (as usual over priced) but the parking did not start the day with a good felling. We drove from the north exiting I-95 at Atlantic. Signs all over the place for event parking. Followed the signs to a traffic mess. Once we got close there was Valet at $25 or go find your own place to park. Since we were not familiar with the area we did Valet. The valet was great but don’t put up the signs if you can’t follow through or have an alternate other than Valet.
Loved loved. The legends there made this such an inspiring couple of days. Billie Jean being there was such a representation to her continued support and leadership of women’s tennis.
Tennis was great & so was overall event! Wish they would have had a better system for event entry on Friday evening (signage on the street & not just near entry/tents, more lines, etc.) & better communication as to where to stay safe during weather delay). With Atlantic Avenue closed down adjacent to the Tennis Center for another event/Street Fair, it was more challenging to navigate traffic and find parking. Saturday was totally sunny & would have liked more seating in the shade near food/drink vendors. And wish the restrooms were better ventilated, as they were like a stuffy sauna since outdoor temperatures were very warm & there was no air flow.
Fantastic seats! Love the venue…small, intimate…great way to watch tennis! And to get the doubles match (even though it technically didn’t have to be played) was super!
Watching Coco and Jessica was amazing. Jessica is my favorite tennis player, and just watching how well she plays, in person, was so much fun. This was my anniversary gift, and it was the most amazing gift. The only thing that could have made it so much better was actually meeting Jessica, but sadly she was busy with others on the other side of the court.
Great event with great energy, most exciting matches I’ve been to. We had so much fun cheering on the USA Team.
My experience with collecting my tickets were a breeze.
We enjoyed two great matches. The Delray Tennis stadium is normally very accessible and comfortable. Unfortunately, the night we were there, there were some kind of event in town and getting to and from the stadium was a little more difficult than usual.
