Incredible show. Ben Harper is so talented. I love you Ben!!!!!!
The best show I have ever seen. The energy in the room was amazing. Come back to Florida soon.
Non-stop entertainment for over 3 hours! Jaw dropping performance and "wow" factor all the way! Would recommend and would go see again! A true entertainer that engaged you like no other. His "new" band was amazing at every level; could not believe how in sync they were and played off each other. A must go see! You will not be disappointed.
I have seen Ben Harper several times before and in different venues. I saw him at HOB back in 2002(?). Every time I see Ben play, I am amazed at his ability, his versatility, and the way he connects with his audience. The Band was great as well.....all really good musicians in their own right. We were on the floor for the entire show. Back to back and belly to belly, dancing wtih 100 of our closest friends. HOB is the best venue e-v-a-r!
Was nothing like the show I went to at the Fox. The additional of the Relentless7 changed things for the worse. I'm very disappointed. But Guster was great!
You gotta give it to the old man, he plays a mean guitar. Both standing up acoustic and sitting down electric, he's a master of his trade. Also an unbelievable performer, he really brought the crowd into the show and made you feel like you were jamming with him in his living room. After years of liking Ben Harper I finally made it to one of his shows... Now I just love him.
i saw ben harper and the relentless 7 at the ritz theatre in tampa on may 1. the show was absolutely amazing!!! the crowd was totally in to the entire show. i could type for days, but you just had to be there to fully get it. don't miss this band!!!
I've never seen as enthusiastic a performer as Ben Harper. Also, I never thought I'd like any of his bands better than I liked the Innocent Criminals, but Relentless 7 was unbelievable! They involved the crowd in the songs, he gave away some guitar picks and sliders, it was just a phenomenal show.
Wow. I saw BH in Miami 2 years ago but this was by far my favorite show. The venue has a really electric vibe: it's a small space where everyone can dance and sing. You could literally feel the emotions of the crowd ripping though the hall. Most songs came from his most recent album White Lies for Dark Times, powered by anguished lyrics, blues swagger and heavy guitar-powered rock. As always, he is a soulful vocalist, refreshing performer, and crisp musician. He performed fan favorites like 'Diamonds on the Inside', 'Walk Away' 'Another Lonely Day', and 'Pleasure and Pain' on solo acoustic guitar; this bare presentation showcased all of the things that make Ben Harper a singular artist: musicianship, tender lyrics, and emotional generosity. He played a few new songs from the album coming out in September, and just when I least expected it, he pulled out my all time favorite 'Amen Omen'-- can't wait to see him in Tampa again!
The concert did not start at the times represented. This is my only complaint. I figured the concert would end at 10pm or 10:30 the latest and Ben Harper didn't even start until 10pm. Also, the venue was VERY VERY cold!!!! Almost unbareable!
