What a fabulous beach concert with the Originial Rhondels. I will come back year after year as long as they keep singing and playing. It was fun to hear the old songs as well as contemporary songs. Thanks RHONDELS!
Timing wasn't great and festival was shorter without great name performers. The one standout was at noon on Saturday when it should have been an evening performance! Always love this festival - not so much this year...
Friday night's music by the Swinging Medallions was great and so was Sat.s band Smokin Hot we didn’t stay for the Catalinas as the weather was deterriorating. ALTHOUGH I would have loved to hear them. Bay beach girl
The Original, Rhondels, is a class act. They have been around since the early 60s. My experience this weekend was absolutely off the charts. If you had to write them from 1 to 10 or any of the bands, it would be 100. I understand it is debatable whether the beach music will be hosted at Virginia Beach next year. As of now, my understanding is that it will not happen. Let’s give this a chance. Covid hit and it was postponed all that long time 2 1/2 to 3 years. Now people are still afraid to be around large crowds. We need this outlet of wonderful music to help pick up morale of everyone. It has been rough on all our artist and entertainers because things were canceled for such a long time. Please don’t take away what we have to make us feel good.
Missed Friday night, but loved the Rhondels, Smokin Hot. Didn’t catch the the Catalina’s, had dinner reservations. Always enjoy listening to beach music at the beach.
It was so much fun and great music. Had a great time!
The music was really good, A mix of old and new. The location is convenient to food, drink and restrooms.
Easy parking, easy entry, bathrooms close, beer garden was super, and of course, the music was great!
Loved the bands. Only wish it was a 3 day event like last year.
Second year attending and the Swingin' Medallions were dynamite! Great music AND showmanship! Set the tone for Sat and Sunday!
