I purchased 6 tickets for my family to attend. When the tickets arrived in the App, there was no method to send the tickets to my other family members and required us to try to meet up outside of the stadium for entry. That was extremely problematic given the crowds and reflected very insensitive customer service by Ticketmaster.
It’s was fantastic. The steppers was stepping and the bands show up and show out. I love it
The event itself was amazing! The step show was hyped and the battle of the bands was great!!! I’m not a graduate of Grambling or Southern State but I know who to cheer for in the future!!!
Despite cloudy/misting weather, the show went on. Again, no report of violence!! Felt safe, police presence.
The overall event was nice. However, the ticket prices were insane. To increase prices for general admission tickets on the day of the show was terrible. The battle of the bands is a family and college crowd event. College students can't afford $100 plus for tickets. Why not keep general admission at $20 and once sold out then that's that. Most people purchase tickets on the way to New Orleans. Imagine their shock to see that the prices had been purposefully increased. It's sad that this type of event was treated with such disrespect to its longtime supporters.
The only complaint I have about bayou classic is the traffic and how long it took to find parking BOTH days. When you finally get in there you’ve basically missed majority of the show/game.
This event was an awesome event to attend this past weekend. My whole family enjoyed it as always.
So much fun, loved the experience! Can’t wait until next year!
It was a good experience, but after listening to the bands for so long, it gets boring. I think they need to change it up a bit, and judge the bands not only on music, but formations on the field as well. That way they can use the whole superdome for that, and more people means more money. Have an actual judging system, and judges, and actually declare a winner of the battle of the bands, with an actual trophy being awarded.
I really had a walk a thone trying to venue my purse; I didn't know about see though appearance. Other than that I enjoyed it.
