The show was great but dont try and record any video during the performance as Hitler took my friends camera as she tried to record part of a song and then deleted all images from her camera - the camera could only record 10 seconds at a time so its not like she could upload them to youtube etc.....didnt get my phone though muhahahaha Well done Barry for a great show - starts at 7:30 and finished at 9pm (Barrys bed time)

    Manilow Vegas

by Anonymous on 5/30/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Manilow continues to be a great singer and showman. His new show at Paris Las Vegas was outstanding. Sang many of his old classic's, some songs, and really entertained the audience with a personal intimate segment about his grand father. The audience was on their feet the entire night!

    Barry Manilow is extraordinarily EXTRAORDINARY!!

by connoiseur on 5/29/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The Manilow show was astoundingly entertaining. Barry was always destined to do this . His voice is fantastic, the show staging is awesome , the costumes , the lighting, the jokes ....they were all amazing. I am at a loss for more splendid adjectives. Barry said, "you all are looking beautiful, and I'm feeling beautiful", in a really comical Barry sort of way. Everyone busted out laughing. Barry really did look beautiful by the way and I hope Barry never loses his black leather jacket , it was smoking hot . The entire performance was fabulous, a singing sensation enveloped in high tech visuals , backed by masterful musicianship. I LOVED IT !

    Brilliant showman

by GingerRogers on 5/24/10Paris Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

I agree with the review by 'Always Smiling'. My Mum and I travelled from the UK to see Barry in Vegas. Barry is absolutely amazing and I have seen him three times in Vegas (twice at the Hilton and once at Paris). I personally preferred the show at the Hilton and also the seating arrangements. At the Hilton we purchased 'stage seats' for the same amount of money as the VIP seats at the Paris and the stage seats were much better. Don't get me wrong, Barry's show is fantastic and I would definitely recommend seeing it but my Mum were quite disappointed with the VIPseating. The seats are definitely not worth $300! Next time I would book a seat closer to the stage. The show was brilliant, I just wish Barry had performed for longer as I could listen to him all night long.

    I love Barry Manilow but..........................

by Alwayssmiling on 5/23/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I truly love Barry Manilow and have seen him in concert quite a few times. This show did not live up to my expectations for the money that I spent. We decided to do go the VIP way and paid $300 per ticket. For that we got a seat in the back and free champagne or wine. The venue was nice and small so we could see fine. Our problem was that we paid almost $700 total and he only entertained for an hour and 20 minutes. When he first comes out he says with as many songs as he has done we could be there all night. Well, it wasn't even close. Many times I have seen him perform for a lot longer for a lot less money. Don't get me wrong, I know we were in Vegas but I have seen plenty of other performers there where I felt I got my money's worth. Bottom line, what he did was spectacular, he just didn't do it long enough.

    Barry is pure entertainment!

by killerisme on 5/22/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

A more personal show than expected, as Barry reveled in all the nostalgia of his past successes, while revealing key parts of his journey along the way. Understand that this is Vegas and nothing is perfect in a "nightly" show, and you will enjoy the ride. Neighbors in the audience recalled seeing him 20 years ago and wondered if he would still dance and strut his stuff. No worries there, as he put on a lively stage show that was a match for the songs.

    Barry was fantastic!

by Raidergirl30 on 5/21/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The only disappointment was that the show was only one hour and 15 minutes. Was hoping for at least one hour and 30 minutes like most shows. Still would recommend!

    More than Amazing

by QueenLadybug on 5/21/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Took my mother for her 75th Birthday! Barry was absolutely amazing. Very personable and really gives the audience a GREAT show. Connects so well with the audience. Barry shares his experiences growing up that brought tears to our eyes. He is truly an entertainer beyond entertainers. I would see this show, again, again, and again!

    Barry still has it

by Barryadmirer on 5/21/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Barry gave a solid 90 minute performance. All his hits and more. The Paris is a great place to see him because it only seats 1,500 people. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The man can still flat out sing and the band supporting him was very tight. The stage production was very good but not overdone. The use of photographs in virtual frames was a nice touch. While I'm not a diehard fan I have always liked some of his songs and thought he had real talent. This was my first Vegas show and I wasn't disappointed (unlike the Cher show I saw the next night). If you even remotely like Barry's songs or him as a singer you should find a way to see this show in Vegas. This was a last minute add for my long weekend in Vegas and it was the best money I spent all weekend.

    Barry looks and sings good

by justyrusty on 5/20/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

One act where you can actually hear his voice over the music. The sound mixer did a good job. Even though he was 1/2 hour late and crowd getting restless, it was well worth the money. Lots of audience participation.

    A sad evening

by Anonymous on 5/19/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I have seen Barry Manilow four other times at various hotels in Vegas. This time I decided to spend more for our seats to get a better view. I even brought my daughter who grew up listening to his albums. I'm sorry to say that the show started late and ended too soon, about 1 1/2 hours at the most. The selection of "oldies" didn't include any of my favorites and he was struggling with the notes. He mentioned having a touch of laryngitis and a scratchy throat so maybe he shouldn't have done the show. I'm sorry to say that I've seen my last Barry Manilow show. I'll settle for the memories from past concerts and forget I saw this one.

    He needs to retire

by BarryFan1000 on 5/17/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I've been to more than 20 Barry concerts in my life and I have to say, I have now seen my last show. He is obviously in poor health, has trouble doing any dance steps and his voice has now moved into the "old person" voice with an exaggerated, forced vibrato and scratchy tone. Although his performance of "I am Your Child" and "Even Now" were both moving, the rest of the show was predictable and boring. I am so sad to say, he really needs to retire.

Concert was 20 min late starting. The sound system was too loud for the first couple of songs. the concert only lasted for just over 1 hour. The costume change was good. The ending production was great. His voice is good in spite of some laryngitis. Enjoyed the videos of his early years.

latest barry show great parade of his music

by lardave on 5/16/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

we enjoyed this latest barry manilow show at Paris much better than the one at LV Hilton. he did many his hits non stop, but also included some insight into his career, eg how his grandfather got him interested in music at a very young age. the backup singers were great as was his band. the auditorium appeared to be sold out, and there were numerous standing ovations
